Missing map for customs tonight

We played Strand, that worked fine. Filled up, good times were had.

Went to palermo, played that, they voted custom again so I did a vote and it went to aura; only 19 people could get in. At least 10 people reported that Missing Map problem where it won't let you get on the server. You could see them joining and joining over and over, trying to get it to work. I talked to a few of them, had same problem (for a map that they've played in the past).

Then I tried kalt_1945, even more people couldn't get in (including some who COULD get in on aura).

Changed it back to rotation now, but figured I'd post about it. I personally didn't have a problem, but many pubbers couldn't get in, killed the population instantly.

The sv_downloadurl is set to http://1stmarineraiderbattalion.clanservers.com/dod

That url gives an error 509 Bandwidth Limit Exceeded

Should it be set to http://1stmrb.clanservers.com/dod? That one actually loads, kalt_1945 does seem to be missing from there though. I recall we had a problem a few years ago where the sv_downloadurl kept getting screwed up.

Well, that explains a lot... Here's the notification on the fastDL server:

I've put in a ticket with Gameservers, hopefully we can either increase our bandwidth a little for a day or upgrade permanently. If not, there's only a day before it rolls over into November.

We're increasing our limit by 2 GB, hopefully that will cover our needs!

Correction, we've increased the bandwidth by 20 GB. Custom maps should be working now!

so it seems that we may have exceeded our badwidth limit again.

We rolled over into the next month and reset the bandwidth, the issue should be resolved for now.

I'll keep an eye on it. If we get close again, I'll request another upgrade.
