Graphics Driver
Janke 1st MRB replied to Marsden 1st MRB's question in Hardware Guides & Maintenance Questions
Make sure you downloaded the right card's drivers. Other than that I am spacing out on any helpful information ATM, I'll try again tomorrow. -
It's about time you put it to good use.
-
So kinda like Norton 360 then?
-
Agreed, I can build 2 of Alienware's best for the price of one.

AVG Free 9.0, it's free, it gets spyware, adware, and viruses, and it scans your e-mails and your links in google searches for viruses. It's also caught a couple trojans right as soon as they tried installing on my computer.

Source Recorder!
Janke 1st MRB replied to Le 1st MRB's question in Hardware Guides & Maintenance Questions
Why don't you just post a link to that google book? Yes, it's unfinished, but it has some information in it and then it'd already be linked here when we add more to it. -
Do want.

Over Clock
Janke 1st MRB replied to Marsden 1st MRB's question in Hardware Guides & Maintenance Questions
My stock 9600GT gets 120, but I have it capped at 60. -
Over Clock
Janke 1st MRB replied to Marsden 1st MRB's question in Hardware Guides & Maintenance Questions
I heard NVidia released an overclocking tool for their cards somewhere. I don't know, haven't done so myself, what I have works fine, but try searching it up. I don't think overclocking the graphics card is done in the BIOS, but then again, never done it before... -
$150, a few gift cards, $40 in iTunes gift cards, Wolfenstein for the PS3. I have more coming later today and tomorrow, and I intend to buy myself some gaming gear.

My old computer
Janke 1st MRB replied to Marsden 1st MRB's question in Hardware Guides & Maintenance Questions
I remember those days, ever since Oct 2008 I can't play anything less than like 60FPS. -
My old computer
Janke 1st MRB replied to Marsden 1st MRB's question in Hardware Guides & Maintenance Questions
But can it run them well? By run I mean playably, as in ~40 FPS. If it's like 15 FPS then that doesn't really count, and I've seen shitty computer with Vista that, while they "run" the game it's not really playable. -
My old computer
Janke 1st MRB replied to Marsden 1st MRB's question in Hardware Guides & Maintenance Questions
If it's shitty, old, and running Vista then don't expect it to do anything. Vista is a horrible RAM hog and if you don't have at least a 2.0Ghz dual-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, and a 256MB graphics card you won't be able to run shit on Vista. -
Happy birthday Lehman, best birthday wishes and may you have many more!
-
The funny thing is, I could see myself doing something like that for jokes.
-
No, it's for university students... Fucking hate that, I want Win7 for $35 dammit!

My old computer
Janke 1st MRB replied to Marsden 1st MRB's question in Hardware Guides & Maintenance Questions
When was the last time you ran DoD:S on this computer? I understand that they updated it to the EP2 engine some time ago, and that that engine takes much more resources to run than the EP1 engine it was previously on. This may be the problem, is that it may have ran fine on the EP1 engine, but that the computer can't handle the EP2 engine. I know this was the case for my old computer, it ran CS:S fine but TF2 was so laggy it was unplayable. -
You're both heartless fucks.
-
Lolwut?

Best birthday wishes and may you have many more!

Jesus Christ! This is why I'm looking for a small 125CC-250CC, insurance is only like $2800, and the bike only like $1500(used)-$4500.
-
1250CC? How's the insurance on it, last time I checked it was something retarded like $26,000 for anything 1200CC or up for someone 16 years old. I have a feeling the insurance site fucked up on that though...
-
Sounds good to me.
-
I'm rather indifferent as to what part I play, but you can stick me in as a part.
