I totally agree. I refuse to buy video games any more until I've found some one else who was dumb enough to get wrapped up in the hype and unless there still playing it I won't even look at it. I know a lot of people really enjoy star craft 2 but I have to admit I was kind of disappointed. Ya multi player kicks ass on it but the campaign was way to short I thought.

1700$ still sounds a bit ridiculous. I'm running pretty much the same set up but I only have 6 gigs of ram and I've put the whole thing together for 1100. Mind you my case is a piece of shit and its got a cheap ass hard drive. That and where are you guys getting the prices on these video cards? Fuck am I getting ripped off that bad in Canada? I bought a Radeon HD 5770 a few weeks ago for 140$ and that was a pretty good deal. You guys are taking about getting the same or comparable cards for 80- 100$? or did I just misread that? If not let me know where to shop and I'll be heading down to the states next time I need an upgrade

Whats with all the hate on Vancouver? Are you guys honestly going to tell me Chicago is going to beat them this year? they traded half there team. As for San Jose meh possibly but we all know what choke artists they are so even if the do beat Vancouver in the standings it doesn't count come playoffs. Now when you look at Vancouver they have a first and second line that is as good as any in the league, ya there first may not be as good as Washington or Pittsburgh but who cares there in the East. They have so much depth on the 3rd and 4th line they don't know what to do with the players. Given the forward lines are similar to last year and the only finished 3rd in the West but there D is way better probably the best in the league. You can take any one of the top 6 and they'd be a part of the top defensive pair on any other team, so as long as we keep that dumb ass Alberts off the ice in the 3rd period the D will be solid. If by any chance some one does get by the D we have Frigin Loungo so it really doesn't matter. In summary you who laugh at Vancouver finishing at the top of the West have no idea what your talking about and are probably a bunch of whinny bitch puck bunnies from the East. O and just for you Parker I hope Toronto makes the playoffs so you don't have to cry your self to sleep for another season even though we both know the will be blown out in 4 games by Washington or Pittsburgh if they make it.

I'm not saying anything such as those are acceptable Ritchy. You mustn't generalize with these kind of issues however, you'ld likely find the people involved in those stories are extremists. If you talk to any one who is actually muslim about those stories and they'd be disgusted and just as soon the people doing the honour killings hanging from a tree as you or me. If you look at any religion you will find "Honor killings" or people committing horrible acts claiming they are doing "gods work" but you can't generalize and assume every one associated with religion is fucked up. No matter what religion you look at there will be minorities who twist the teachings to fit there own fucked up motives. I'm not saying we should let them do what ever they want because of their beliefs if you move to a country you are expected to follow there laws, but when your looking at free countries such as the USA you shouldn't be forced to adopt the local beliefs or culture. If you want to live by shiria law then who gives a shit provided everything your doing is within the local law. In the case of Minnesota I don't think the problem is that these muslims want to live by Shiria law the problem is that they are trying to force it on other people. Personally I think target should have fired them for not being able to do the job they were hired to do. I agree with what evolution said regarding this and he does a better job of saying it. For NY I think my main issue is that muslims are being painted with the same brush as terrorists. By denying muslims the right to have a mosque near ground zero your practically saying muslims are terrorist which just isn't true. PS On the articles Ritchy posted I noticed they mentioned how women are treated like shit. That is the kind of thing thing that I believe we should force them to change and I wouldn't so much call it assimilation as enforcing our laws. Just the same as if we were to move to there country we would be expected to follow a certain dress code.

Hmmm this is an interesting issue. I really don't know what side to take. First off I can't stand the news article its shit like that that breeds prejudices. I do disagree with Shari law being able to be put on other people. Well unfortunatly I can't use itunes I have something like 54 thousand songs and itune crashes when I try and load them. That and I play alot of my stuff on vinyl. My top 5 would probably be a combo of Fords and Zahls though, Alot of beatles, pink floyd, and tragically hip

I had the same problem with a different game and the problem ended up being my video card drivers. So maybe try updating your drivers. I ended up having to uninstall all my drivers then reinstalling them to fix the problem
