I do not recall firing half a Thompson clip, and the previous instance which you may be speaking of was most likely on the same map. Is it possible that the continued firing (of "over half a Thompson clip") was a result of the server-map-change?
I found that firing in the alley just behind the first Allied flag and accidentally hitting a teammate counted as shooting a teammate in the spawn (possibly because of how close the first Allied flag is to the Allied spawn point). I admit to accidentally hitting a teammate in this area with a rifle grenade earlier in the map cycle as I did not know the timing for those grenades at the time (it blew up in my hand, and consequently the server gave a message that I had been slayed, though the killbox beneath the minimap showed that I was killed by my own grenade), and this was as I was trying to throw it through a window which one of our teammates was firing through with a .30Cal MG. I believe that both of these instances were in the map dod_avalanche, and I know for fact that both were accidental.
You say that I "intentionally team attacked". I would like to know if your evidence of this is based on an automatic "attack in spawn" message from the server or if it was eye-witnessed. I implore you to reconsider, as I have not ever, nor will I ever consider intentionally attacking a teammate. I enjoy playing on this server and fully understand that a stats system is running on it, and I do not wish to befoul anyone's statistics with an extra death attributed to a careless team-kill. I do not wish to sound argumentative, but I enjoy playing on these servers and do not wish to be banned for a couple of accidents in which I meant no harm to other players.
If there is any possibility of me discussing this personally with a superior officer on a vent server or in-game, I would be glad to do so.
With all due respect,
William Reynolds, Rec.
