I think that your heart is in the right place but it is a bad idea nonetheless. When the pub is strong enough that you have to wait to get into it on a regular basis and it doesn't die overnight, think about pitching this idea again. Right now there is still work that needs to be done with the pub rank. If you introduced a gun game server or a custom map server the pub would die. Even if you monitored the pub to make sure that it didn't drop below a certain number of players you would still only get a map or two in on the "fun" server before the pub was dead and you had to shut it down. That would make the "fun" server a bad investment. A healthy pub is the single most important thing for the survival of the unit.

I've been back in the pub a few times since and haven't had anymore errors. It might have just been a fluke thing. I tried to run a traceroute by using the command "tracert 208.167.243.207:27015" and it came back with an error. What is it? Also when I am in the pub on Kalt and I go into sewers the reflection that I get in the water is of a top down view of the map from outside of sewers. What is that about? I went into another server that was on Kalt and none of these errors were happening there. So that says to me that there is something up with the 1st MRB pub.

We all hit some lag on the server today during Argentan but when I tried to run the tracert it came back with: Unable to resolve target system name 8.6.76.164:27015. Then I tried using the pub servers IP and got the same message.

I used to use a custom hud that looked like insane's version 8 hud but there were some differences. The health bar on insane's new hud is red as soon as Im shot and the death messages are bordered black instead of the puke yellow that Im used to. Might it have been an earlier version that I was using or something different entirely? Right now I use stock hud but the death messages, chat messages, and player health/gun info are too big. Other than that I think I am ok.
