Places I want to go: Knob Creek, TN for the twice-a-year Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot East Asia/Pacific Tour: - 3 weeks in Japan. Start in Osaka, work my way up to Hokkaido; Try not to spend all my money in Akihabara. - A few days over in S. Korea - A few days in China, then a visit to Hong Kong, maybe for three days. - A few days in Thailand where I try not to be murdered by a friend of mine. She says its in jest but still. :x - A few days in Singapore - Down to Perth, Australia to visit some of my friends from the intrawebs D: - Up to the Philippines for a month visiting family - Here in Saipan for a week - Up north to Alaska to round it all out. European Tour: - England to make fun of their police state. - Scotland and Ireland to load up on booze to send home - France because I have to. Why fly when you can take the train or drive? - Switzerland, buy an actual awesome Swiss Army knife - Germany for the booze and culture - Poland to visit Pope John Paul II's homeland - Then to Italy and the Vatican America (and America's Hat): - Uh...screw that I'm staying in Virginia. Unless some of you up there invite me to the non-French speaking parts. - Maybe California to do the same thing I would do in England. Make fun of your nanny state. Things I want to own: - Crap...uh...firearms would end up a whole long post by themselves. Let's just say I'll own enough guns, ammunition, and outdated military equipment to outfit a third world country. - Land Rover Defender 130 (screw your fancy Lambos and crap.) Things I want to do: - Learn Japanese, Korean, Tagalog, German, and Russian - Learn to be a gunsmith - Work at an embassy with the State Department - Go rally driving - Learn how to and participate in off-road competitions/races (can be connected to above) - Own and operate a fully restored M4 Sherman Firefly and if the Euros would let me, a fully functioning Leopard 2A5 (diesel is cheaper than jet fuel xP) - Live to see the anti-gun lobby marginalized into nothing and the Brady Campaign folks to finally disband (wishful thinking)

As not many of y'all know, I'm a firearms enthusiast. I'm a regular lurker of various firearm blogs like The Firearm Blog, SayUncle, View From The Porch, TTAG, Everyday No Days Off, Gun Nuts Media, Snowflakes in Hell, etc... Besides the Drama Llama making it's way 'round our parts, so have this new thing. A bunch of wannabe operators setting up mall ninja tacitcool high speed low drag training schools. (Post 2) So when we heard about it we flipped a table. Of course none of these guys liked it so they took down their mall ninja vids. The first time we were caught unawares. Then the second we saved it. The best saved though is this one: I fail linking to youtube forever WHATEVER YOU DO PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS SHIT. And yes I found this funny even though they all could've killed each other. Why is this on slope chute? Hell, I thought it was appropriate. And if people didn't know: Mall Ninja: A term used in forums to mean an unexperienced and enthusiastic weapon(usually a firearm)owner who pretends to be a seasoned operator. The phrase came about as a result of an over the top character in a famous satirical thread. A term used in the firearm community to describe an individual who is obsessed with tactical, paramilitary style firearms and modifications, particularly firearms composed mostly of plastic. Such individuals are usually un-experienced novices who compulsively overpay for weapons and accessories not worth their weight in dog crap because such items looked cool in movies and video games. [Hair Pulling Blog Post, Read if you have time and sanity, but explains the origins of these people.]

Dunno, the best toys I had as a kid would always be Lego Blocks. You know how amazing it was for a 7 year old to figure out how to make a minisub without their dad's help? For a kit that was rated 12+ or something?

What's your personality type? (Myers-Briggs)
Pangilinan 1st MRB replied to M. Duke's topic in The Slope Chute
I took this test a few years ago, slightly before my life kinda went to shit. Back then, I was more of an Inspector, and more or less corresponds to the time in school where I was more worried on the now and getting things done than the what ifs. Well, as some of you may know, my life kinda took a downward spiral months ago with stress and family, and as such, I rated on the scale as Protector on the Keirsey Temperment Sorter. What does that mean? Well here be the summary if y'all too lazy to do a right click-> open as new tab on the links above on Firefox. I've added emphasis on what I believe I fit. Now, to add more to the richness of this, I went and linked the actual Myers-Briggs Type Indicator page for ITSJ. It is a little closer on the mark without going into specifics. Below is what the ITSJ stands for according to the makers of the test. That said, I'm ready to come back to the Adjutant office. -
FNFN mixed with Gun Game Night

That's actually a good idea. Nice way to advertise the unit as well. -
Do you enjoy DODS? Your damned to hell.

:| My old priest played rock band, and probably knows more about theology than these people. -
I think he either handled radios or newfangled coms equipment

I'll pass as well, I plan to cut down on the facebooking.

I'm with Kim. If the watermelon in question isn't sweet enough, salt tends to draw out the flavor of the melon by giving it something to contrast it. But then again, I'll scarf down an entire watermelon if its sweet enough.

Meaning an increased dependence on the Government to survive in an economy brought about by under-regulation of several government entities. And if y'all start blaming Bush, we can go all the way back to FDR and his love for Keynes. The case in Richmond was won mainly by the majority of the Judges there were Democrat appointees, while this fourth circuit case is done with a more balanced bunch of judges. We'll see how this plays out.

I don't even know how to describe this.

Dear Apple: Welcome to team anti-malware
Pangilinan 1st MRB replied to Yamagata 1st MRB's topic in Mess Hall
Yep. It's all about being safe. And I tend to forget/no practice a whole lot of vigilance. Also because the school requires me to have their version of symantec on or the network gateway doesn't let me on the net when I'm there. ~_~;; And apple fanbois are annoying. Especially when they can go and say "oh I can dual boot your crappy OS" or whatever they say nowadays. I've long stopped listening. Which cool sig? I have three using a rotation code. -
Ok. best times, fun moments, etc etc. with the unit!!!
Pangilinan 1st MRB replied to Frantz's topic in Mess Hall
Dude I started laughing. I wished i was there to see that. XD I think me screaming like a little girl whenever I get killed when I'm probably excited or when I don't realize it is what I like the most about the game. Yeah it's embarassing. But eh...also cursing at people who dominate me. I'm looking at you Frantz. D< -

In terms of video editing and music, they're fantastic. In terms of everything else. From doing your daily bills and writing your term paper, gaming, and learning how to create a computer from the parts up? Windows-based/PC machines are better. Besides, quoting Jean V. Dubois (more or less): Eternal Vigilance! Keep those antivirus programs up to date and whatnot. Hadn't had a virus/trojan/malware related problem in years. -

The higher a system's market share grows, the juicier it is for those willing to obtain information. Especially when said system has its makers and supporters spout the lie that they are safer and need no anti-virus software, citing the larger competitor's need for system and security fixes. There's a reason Windows get targeted alot. More people use it. More chance to run off with sensitive data. Poor Apple (not), you finally realized how stupid y'all are. -
Happy Birthday!

Thanks guys. More surprised no one here asked why I had a panda on my head. XD

Look, woman. We want to graduate. We can care less about women's rights and how you had this long story on how some soldier talked diversity with you. He probably said stuff like it, but in daily vernacular not in the mists of academic feminism-diversity-lecturer stuff. Oh right, I graduated. WOOT Me and Professor G. Palubinskas, one of our faculty marshalls and professor who kept her eye on me to see if I graduated on time. Family: Sister, Myself, Baby Sister, Mom, Dad Family: Uncle, Myself, Aunt Woot: Sister and her Boyfriend, Myself with Baby Sister, Cpl. M. Kim And last but not least, GROUP PHOTOS Now that said...Jesus...guest lecturer should've cut her speech to like, 2 x 10 minute stories of diversity and feminism and not...5-6...or something. I lost track of time.

Happy Birthday! I hope you still lurk us. D:
