Last I understand it, there is also an international copyright agreement/treaty/etc.. in the works. It has met the past couple of years and aims to do the same what project ip is trying to do. Except it's all closed door non-transparent, take it up the ass kind of deal. I need to hunt down the post that explained it but I'm unsure which blog I follow released the details.
-
I didn't really say it was. I said we see it as a more pressing issue and picked up on net neutrality/censorship quickly.
-
You would be surprised. And how long down the line until it gets struck down? It needs to die before it hits voting.
-
There is a reason why conservatives tend to view this as a greater issue. We fear being censored, and if establishment Dems or Reps get this passed, how will we be able to get our voices heard. It's not just piracy or whatnot, but it opens the precedence of online censorship. This is a partisan-less issue, and one that threatens anyone who has a view outside the established norms.

Knew this kind of thing awhile back. I think a similar measure was being thought of earlier in the year. It got the conservative blogs here in the US all riled up. I need to look more into this new one to see if it's the old one in a new name or something else.

If i had a computer that can run it.

Am I a jerk for coming up with a sentence for every point she made?

I dunno, if I can, I'll take a regular shovel but cut it down to a yard in lenght. Small enough to maneuver, but large enough to parry, buttstroke, and dig holes in the back of Mare's head. Although survival shovels look promising as well. I might even be tempted to do a walking cane trick and put in a barrel, trigger, etc... to reinforce it with the metal barrel but also shoot someone with a .45ACP surprise.

I told myself I won't fall for the bait. But Goddamnit Perry even us Conservatives are shaking our heads at you. Like, Goddamnit man! Fuck I'm keeping away from the subforum, I'm a stubborn conservative and the unit's mostly liberal from what I guess.

I mean really. If anyone bothered to listen to the songs I put on my sig on a roughly weekly basis, they'd get a good idea on what I listen to.
-
Mostly Country Music and Jpop. I listen to some classical, classic rock, and anything that makes me like it really. Very little rap/hip hop.

Past- My Grandfather, Filipino who served in the American Army, taken prisoner in the Bataan Penninsula, and endured years of maltreatment awaiting MacArthur's return. Present- My Aunt and Uncles, who joined in peacetime and stayed when our nation was attacked in 9/11 and my Uncle transferred from reserves to the 4th ID on his second tour. Future- Myself, or my sister. We have an undying love for this nation where we got a better opportunity for a good life, and understand that all gave some. But some gave all.

Touche' I also want an M1917 Enfield. Beautiful gun, way sexier and bulkier than the M1903 Springfields.

You're the best GLOCK Fanboy I ever met. Mainly because all others are like elitist snobs who look down on any other gun, even other Polymer guns that to me are better fitting for someone like me. It's also because I'm a budding C&A kind of firearms owner. Would so totally drop 1000USD for a prestine bolt gun from WWI than dropping it on an custom AR. So older pistols have that appeal to me. And it's happening, slowly, but yer right, better to get a state one for now. PS- I have shown the superiority of a gun by taking over a shovel squad thread.

Occupy Wall Street - So what would you want?
Pangilinan 1st MRB replied to Dillon 1st MRB's topic in Politics?
I can see where you're going. Then let's tax it then. I can only imagine the bureaucratic nightmare in taxing micro-transactions and the slowing down of the stock market, but sure. Now what. We have this money, we can dump it into the necessities. Defense, Education, and Medical/SS. We've increased our GDP in the hopes we didn't create a regulatory nightmare and a quick buck kind of deal. Something that hopefully won't be precedence for even greater taxes and regulation that threaten to destabilize the market faster than the market can adjust for the new regulations. I can understand your want for new taxes. Although my want for smarter and/or reduced spending probably doesn't heed much. Bah I concede. I guess it's something I don't learn. But hey, I figured something from all this. I'm a naive soul who don't know enough or something. That all corporations are greedy lying sonnovabitches and all politicians are backstabbing demons. That the only equality is by taxing the rich to oblivion and spreading that wealth into a Government that honestly knows better. But hey, if this comes off as an adhom, it isn't really. Just a migraine-esque realization that I'm a dumbass who is better off sticking to his preferred study of Foreign Policy and International Relations. Although frankly, my view still stands. #OWS and its similar movements is nothing but a feel-happy contemporary Woodstock which has no plans beyond roughing it for the winter months. Nothing in the form of coordinating and centralizing a national message while fitting local and state issues to that message. If it can't do that, than nothing will happen. -

Then by all means, he should continue doing so. He can contribute every dollar profit to worthy causes then, if he should so desire. Or the Government can make him do it, right? And yet I still won't listen to him. His call for higher taxes is just going to be money spent without a tit for tat. If there are higher taxes, I'd call for reduced or better yet, smarter spending.
