I suppose what I was saying is that I'm running naked right now, and although it isn't very safe I'm getting good results.
-
By naked I mean that it doesn't have a firewall protecting it from the dangers of the net. Personal routers aren't actually routers, they're NAPT (or PAT) gateways. Which makes them (unless configured with DMZ) operate as simple firewalls. (fyi, they are not NAT gateways. that would imply 1 to 1 address translation, which in the simple case is equivalent to having DMZ enabled for every PC)

I used to be 15 minutes late for school every day because my parents left for work before me and I stayed home to watch Darkwing Duck. Pinky and the Brain Duckman, that show was awesome....

This is more my kind of "remix"....

Is there any way to use a + or add function to add 2 numbers in console? bind uparrow "volume volume + 0.1" bind downarrow "volume volume - 0.1" or my_variable 0.2 bind uparrow "my_variable + 0.1; volume my_variable" bind downarrow "my_variable - 0.1; volume my_variable" or anything like that. i know i could make a bunch of aliases and rebind uparrow and downarrow every time i press them, but that's a pretty messy work around.

I was having a similar problem, disconnected my router, plugged my PC straight into my modem and now I have zero problems.... other than my laptop, xbox, and iphone not having access to my network.... and my pc being naked on the internet....

Am I the only one who didn't make it all the way through the title of this thread and thought he was going to find a nice recipe for something like strawberry jam in here??

Hyperbole? Otherwise they should really do something about that. Even a bad goal tender would help! At the very least he couldn't hurt....

Perhaps I should have specified that I was interested in weird GOOD videos. Ultranator has the idea.... those screwed up animals are just awful!

Reading that is painful to me. Unless by "god" you mean "natural processes"...

Anyone who believes that Creationism has any place in science should probably have died of old age 100-150 years ago.... so to the Texans who supported this, try to catch up and bury yourself in the ground.

She fired a shotgun at him. From as far away as you could get in a mobile home I doubt he was getting back up after even 1 hit. I'd like to say that she should have given him a chance to retreat before she shot him, but if she thought his knife was a gun, it's hard to argue with firing immediately.

Post something strange! Here's a good start

To re-install or not to re-install...

Just microwave the drive on High until the microwave catches fire. Data disposed of. -
Somehow I don't think the 1st's DI's are that good at keeping recruits safe from bad nades!

To re-install or not to re-install...
Lafy BAR replied to Yamagata 1st MRB's question in Hardware Guides & Maintenance Questions
I usually just buy a new hard drive when I want to reinstall. Toss the old drive in an external USB enclosure and get stuff back from it as needed after the reinstall. That said, this might help you figure out what the problem is. You can get a chart of the cpu usage of every process on your computer, and then after the 100% cpu usage happens, check the chart to see which process is doing it. Start, run, mmc, file, add/remove snap-in, performance monitor, add>, ok, performance (local), monitoring tools, performance monitor, green +, process little down arrow (not processor), % processor time, <All Instances>, Add >>, ok you should now have a screen with a mess of little line graphs showing all of your processes and a list with the names associated to each line below.
