I know I can see ears and chins/cheeks around the masks, while still pouring water onto obvious flames lol. My old chief would have kicked some serious ass at that scene lol. That was if our training officer left anything for him to kick. Well I found out that was two ex chiefs and a commissioner right there. Lol I was on the other side making holes wearing my gear the right way lol

Your rules must be quite different then ours up here in Canada.... I see so much bare skin on the hose line approaching the fire...... Sweet pictures, was any of the structure salvageable? 4 companies, how big was this house???? That was at the end, and those guys are the guys we call the Leather Lungs-- The house was small, but the fire was out of control, and was setting the houses on either side up, so more companies were brought in to make sure we did not get pinned. No you are right that is a lot of skin showing, not sure what that's all about. Single Ranch Style house-- The House seems to be in repair, they did not tear it down yet, but my guess they will it was all chard when we left......

This was the view from the back when we arrived- notice the 30ft flame wall on the #2 or right side of the image I had to run 3 lengths of 5" 300ft of hose to a hydrant, then run a bunch of hand-lines to the fire itself. Fire was fought initially by 5 firefighters we were then joined by 3 other companies 15 mins later. This house if carefully looked at had fire Shooting out all the windows and doors on arrival- I was first DUE- had to pull all the hose under the flames to the back of the house so we could attack it cleanly, My friends it was HOT. No Injuries or Loss of Life, Success.

This right here is why New England High School Football makes better players over time- These kids are being abused- They may get to the NFL but these are the people that end up Washing out from Injury. This is the prime example of why injuries exist at such a high rate, not teaching proper form, aggressive, thoughtless. I am far from one of those who coddle, but in all honesty football is the one sport where you either have the talent or you don't, then you have to train technically, Like for example Favre. I hate coaches like those guys, I was a coach and a player my record as a High School Player in NY 24-3 as a coach 17-2 never once did we have one of those dicks coaching us, and I fired my asst. Caoch for attempting it. I have been to the CHSFL Championships and the New England Northern Conference Bowl. the toughest leagues in America, Texas is a thing of the past.

Unban Request: Udyr2G
H. Stone 1st MRB replied to Udyr2G's topic in Military Police Archives - DoD:S
Due to the lack of respect/ and impersonating by technicality using the MRB tag in an inappropriate way, I will not unban you at this time. We have little patience for those who disrespect our members, let alone make a mockery of something like the MRB tag which is worn with honor by our members. -

Lessened to a week, though this is not the correct format for an unban... Furthermore, when people tell you to stop doing things, do it, or next time there will be no second chance.

I looked this one up and it was from dumping lines outside the facility -
I just had an argument with an ignorant person who stated that it would be less money if they got rid of volunteer fire departments and made them nationally all paid. It was a topic that I know the answer to and why it is actually better for everyone to have Volunteers in towns and paid in cities! Here is how it works: Volunteer fire departments train you on skills you need specific to that fire district, and based upon the structural needs, I.e. If there are high rises, etc you get money toward that type of training and equipment need which is voted on by each district bi-annually. If they made everyone paid:There would be a standard of training which woe require you to get certified on every possible type of structure even if it does not exist in your district and you would have to obtain all the equipment even if it was not necessary, which costs a ton more, and taxes go up along with insurance rates if the department does poorly on its ability to train in a reasonable amount of time. I don't like politics, but partly my argument also was, would you rather someone show up voluntarily who is not doing it for a check! The argument back was well then you have no care about those guys in 9/11 I said wait a minute I knew some if those guys and most of them did both volunteer and paid! Then the argument went to double dipping! Firefighter friends in the unit give me your opinion! I know it's a better world to have volunteers, and that paid works for cities but would be very expensive for suburban towns, especially on Long Island where people already pay enough in taxes
