I have 2 roommates in my house that uses the internet at certain points of the day and night. My roommates and I have been sharing the internet for about 9 months now. About a couple of days ago is when I started to get these lag spikes. Is programs running in the background one of the possibilities of having lag spikes? I'm in vent right now if you want me to me about my problems with the lag spikes.

I'm having lag spikes a lot lately. I've been scanning my computer every other day with Super Anti-spyware. I did a scan just yesterday with McAfee Anti-spyware Plus and there are no viruses from the scan. What do I do?
