Brown On previous map Flash, 2nd Lt McDowell told me that if I did not play the way he wanted, I would get kicked because other people wanted to join. I responded by saying, I had caps, kills and was not tk'ing, shooting in or near spawn, and that the server wasn't full. Nobody was complaining about me on either team, aside from the 2nd LT. I wasn't breaking any rules. Okay, I didnt have a great score, but I was ahead of plenty of people on the scoreboard due to flag caps. I don't want to be rude, but this boiled down to "Play my way or get the F out". Next map, Jagd, about halfway through the 2nd LT left to go play on another server and I foolishly let out a "Woohoo" on the mic. Someone in teamchat asked what was up, and I explained over mic that I felt it was tough when admins push you to play their style and enforce it with a ban-hammer. I was banned seconds later, initially it said 10 minutes, and now a full day. Is this the usual treatment for a pubber with a bad score? Do admin normally bring out the hammer when someone questions why? I get that it's your server, and you want to enforce it with your own set of rules but can we apply them evenly to all poorly scoring pub players too? I don't know. But I do know, that I play at your server atleast once a day with good banter(those chatty BAR guys), caps, kills etc and have not had any problems from any staff prior to this. I dont cheat, rarely go afk, and I encourage other people to play at the server. I also actively discourage mic spam/racism/homophobia, while letting staff know when something is up like an AFK, FF incidents or command abuse. I'm pulling for your server to be enjoyable all the time, and encourage you to kick/ban all the goofs out there. At the same time, I definitely feel: a)There should be a warning in place if a player is in the position to be banned for whatever reason. Either via mic, or admin chat. b)If there is a way to play Flash without capping, killing or dying yourself and that is enjoyable for someone, can they please show me? I'd love to get back on the server tonight with my girl, so hopefully I hear back from y'all.
