VanFleet

Hello! I'm new to the forums and soon to be the unit, my name is VanFleet. I'm from Utah, but currently stationed in South Carolina with my wife and son for the USAF. I've been in the AF for only 9 months so while I'm not a brand new recruit, I am new to the real world military atmosphere and I'm loving it. I joined the service a little late in life, I'm 24. I'm already looking at jumping to the Army through the Blue to Green program for their WO training (Ft. Bragg recruiters wont stop bugging our office for WOs). I love hitting the gym though I'm not a meathead, love hanging out with my 2 year old and sometimes the dog and wife. Love being outside fishing or camping. I have been in and out of realism for about 12 years. YES 12 YEARS, since I was a little under 13 years old. Started in a Waffen SS unit with the 12th SS, then we merged into a 9th SS. A few of us left to join with a 26th ID and thats when realism really hit it's peak. Our whole company split from the 26th ID and formed the 506th PIR. After a while the 506th separated. A small crew of the original members, including myself and the original leader reformed the 506th in DoD: Source. I left after about 2 years, had other priorities in life but vowed to return. I returned almost a year ago, but it was a year too late the unit again separated. I've been looking for a good group to hang around with but DoD: Source is not what it used to be, neither are the units. Just a brief introduction to who I am! *BUMP* I an a FAN of my MacBook Pro. It runs my DoDS pretty well as well as a couple other games. I also have a virtual box for Win 8 and Ubuntu (Linux).

*BUMP* I got my start in 1.1, yes I was in the 12th SS, 9th SS, 26th ID, 506th PIR and maybe a handful of small get-up units. I think I was in the 3rd ID, I know I was in the 4th ID for a short while but they never stuck. Also helped reinstate the 506th PIR into DoDS and helped get them up and running. Shame the 506th disbanded.. I was around in the 1.3 days under Wolfe |12.SS|, Wolfe |9.SS|, [26th ID] VanFleet, most recently 2Lt. VanFleet [506th PIR]. Now I'm Headshot Bob on the server. *EDIT* I remember Clericuzio and Lara. Anyone heard of "The Squeeky Voice Brigade" ??
