sorry missed you, had rl things, i'll be on sunday on vent, but i disabled my shields on avast and it still did the same thing, so i dunno wth.. i even changed my fireall rules to home/work setitng as well.

Kannon said he had the same issue, but i think he did some thing with his firewall that i wont do lol. disbaled it ..

ok have done all i can do even set my firewall to excluse steam, still doiong it. i'll wait for more compitent comp ppl to help me figure this mess out.

ok that did not work.. 9min into the game got .. Disconnect: An issue with your computer is blocking the VAC system. You cannot play on secure servers.. this si ticking me off

ok i got most of it working but had to do it a lil different, but can some one tell me the config for the way to see better in dark spots? i cant find the info any where..

ok i did as it said but its not working at all and since i am having to redo all my binds ect i need this to work. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Day of Defeat Source\dod is where my only cfg is located. am i wrong for putting it there?

oh PS.. you do realize you can set your cfg and autoexec to read only? open with notepad, go to properties, set read only.. that way it cant be changed by any server as for your default.

most my setup is the same cept i set rate at 45000, seems to help.

HAPPY TO BE AMONGST SOME OF THE FINEST PPL OF THIS GAME! alot of laff's, alot of tears but it makes me proud to be part of this GREAT unit and community!

just want to add you can do it in further decimals not just .0#0 , IE: mine is set to .0332. yes i know this is being a lil over picky, but it does work, if i use .0331 the lerp turns yellow jsut a FYI
