Happy Birthday bud.

Great points Jankovski and Kirkendall, but I just need to add some of my own. Lalonde you start a topic with hostility and you get nothing but respectful responses from our members. You're accusing the integrity of this unit and in doing so you are accusing my integrity. We are extremely tough on hackers, but we don't ban someone without evidence. You say you submitted demos, no you didn't, not in the correct section of the forums anyways. If you're going to be a whiny little bitch about our servers then I'm glad your gone. Please don't come back. Oh and for being such a dick I'm banning your account on the forums. If you're going to be a dick in the server than I'll ban you there too. Have a nice day.

I hope Rather is okay, yesterday he told us he was going out to watch the new Batman movie. I think he lives in Colorado too.

No, it doesn't. You want it to be, but it doesn't. You're Canadian, deal with it.

LOL Janke as the mascot! -
I'd be ok with this. I should clarify that front loading contracts is what I don't agree with at all.

Well, now I wish I had three hands.

It's my opinion that I'd like them shorter because it's fair. If you lock up a player for the rest of his life he doesn't hit free agency...ever. The only way to get rid of him is either through trade or buying out his contract which is dumb. I doubt Weber, Parise, Suter are going to be playing when they're 40 years old but these contracts will be paying them until then. It is not fair to front load these contracts just to sign players, even owners agree it is outrageous but they are still doing it because if they don't someone else will. With this Weber deal he will be making 26 million dollars in one year, this is how you circumvent the CBA and this is why it needs to be fixed. I did state they should only be 5 years, but I'd be ok with a 7-8 year contract too, anything higher than that is crazy. Seeing all these contracts shows us that the players have the edge when negotiating contracts because they want to have long term security which I understand from a players perspective, but 14 years.... come on this needs to stop.

So reports are that the Flyers have signed Shea Weber to a 14-year offer sheet worth upwards of $100 million. Basically this is a win-win for the Preds, they can either choose to match the offer and have Weber as a Predator for life OR they choose not to match and they either get 4 1st round draft picks or 2 first round draft picks/1 second round draft pick/1 third round draft pick. The Preds have 7 days to decide. The insanity of these contracts in the NHL need to stop. It is seriously ruining the game, players are locked up forever and are given contracts to play hockey until they're 40. As much as I disagree with Burke sometimes, he is totally right when it comes to FA contracts - it should be no longer than 5 years.

This shit should be in the Slope Chute and not the Mess Hall. -
Star Wars wasn't a movie based on a book or a remake of another movie, it was new and fresh. The argument that it was rehashing classic stereotypes is irrelevant, everything mankind produces is based on what knowledge we have of the universe which includes fiction and reality. Hell I even give points to Avatar because it is based on an original screenplay by James Cameron, although it contains some elements from other science fiction works, it is still very much original and creative. On the other hand, this Total Recall remake is not new and shows a lack of creativity and originality from Hollywood. Am I gonna watch this film? Probably. Will I like it? Maybe. Does that make it creative? No.

This made me laugh.

So, by your logic, every movie made in the 80's should get redone? You could say everything before 1995 is a little dated, but that doesn't mean it calls for a remake. These were the movies I grew up watching so for me it's like they're remaking my childhood. Yes this movie might not suck, but the idea as a movie has been done before (IMO not that long ago) so why not think of making something new and fresh? Money, money, money. Jurassic Park Back to the Future Alien Terminator The Matrix Star Wars These are examples of sci-fi movies that were liked so much that they made sequels. I bet you there were a few scripts that could have been huge if they ever made it to the big screen but because of greedy little douche bags who thought it wouldn't make enough money, they scrapped them.

Shame on Hollywood, there's no more creativity so they need to remake old movies.

Parker 1st MRB replied to Carton of Newports's topic in Military Police Archives - DoD:S
2 strikes, that how many you have. Your first infraction of mic spam/trolling resulted in a 2 week ban. Your second infraction of mic spam/trolling resulted in a one month ban. You are currently banned for one month. If there continues to be any problems with you then it'll be permanent. We have recorded incidents with you going back to the summer of 2011 with the same issues. Smarten up or don't bother playing in our servers. -

Easy. The lines need to be bigger than the perceived "box" of dots. Hence the term think outside the box. EDIT: Just watched the video and they show you how to do it at the end lol.
