Parker 1st MRB

So today I woke up at 6 in the morning by my building's fire alarm and my first thought was "fuck not again." The building I live in has 50 floors and is mainly occupied by people my age so a lot of the time the fire alarm gets pulled by drunken assholes. This time, however, there was a huge fire on the 41st floor. When the alarm went off the voice of building security came on the PA and told everyone in my building to evacuate it immediately, use the stairs and that the fire department was on the way. So I got dressed and made my way to the stairs which was jammed packed with about 500 people, I live on the 24th floor so it took me about 5 minutes to get to the bottom with that amount of people. When I got to the bottom I saw about 9 fire trucks, police blockading all the streets surrounding my building, ambulances, and a black BMW with an orange tarp next to it on the sidewalk. I wasn't exactly sure what was going on but I knew something bad had happened. At the bottom I got a call from my friend who lives on the 42nd floor (at the time we didn't know what floor the fire was on) who had already made his way downstairs with his girlfriend and into the Starbucks across the street. I met up with them at the Starbucks where there happened to be a TV showing our building on the news. They told me they were surrounded by black smoke and ran their way down the stairs as quick as they could. Luckily for me the only thing I noticed was a strong smell of smoke which surprisingly I could smell 20 floors below. While watching the news we find out the fire was on the 41st floor and that someone was killed while another was critically injured and had suffered severe smoke inhalation. The fire started from the mattress but they didn't say how, we figured he either fell asleep with a cigarette in his mouth or there were candles next to his bed. Now the assumption was that he was killed in the fire and his roommate barely survived...or so I thought. It is now 4pm and I just heard on the news that the guy who died didn't die in the fire, he jumped from the 41st floor and and landed next to a black BMW. That tarp I saw was covering the body and at the time I thought nothing of it. Detectives are investigating whether it was suicide or murder and no other details were given. All I know is that today was one hell of a way to wake up and start the day.

I'm a car fan too, I was almost about to get an 06 A4 and decided not to. I'm driving an 05 Mazda6 which I'm pretty happy with, the handling and acceleration is outstanding and in my opinion better than a BMW 335 which is about 15K more. The downside is the 3L V6 engine which consumes my gas money like a mad man, but omg it is a fun car to drive. In all honesty my next car might be the Subaru BRZ, it's not as powerful as my Mazda6 but I really like the aesthetics of the car and its weight. It's a fairly light car so I could pop in a super or turbo and boost it that way to make it one hell of a ride.

Oh you're too funny, omg I never knew how funny you can be. So LA is up 2-0 in the series and you're asking me how it feels to be in 13th place? It feels fantastic actually, we got the 5th overall draft pick and we're not getting beat in the first round of the playoffs by an 8th place team in the west. Oh by the way, did I mention how funny you are? This was fun.

The only thing good about the Toronto Sun are the weekly sunshine girl pictures, but hey if you want to be ignorant and base your opinion of Toronto on one columnist's article from a low tier newspaper then by all means go for it. Hopefully all of Vancouver doesn't see this article and start to riot over it and then clean up their mess the next morning. Win all the lovely President Trophies you want because at the end of the day it means nothing in hockey. No one remembers who won a trophy for being good in the regular season. New features include some new ships for each race, new research abilities, a titan class ship, and the ability to choose factions for each race. You can choose to be a loyalist or a rebel for each race and whatever you choose will grant you access to exclusive research capabilities. For example, choosing loyalist will grant the ability to have more than one star base in a system and choosing rebel will allow you to request the aid from pirates to destroy your enemies at any time. Those are just two examples, there are other exclusive research capabilities for each race and faction.
