Independence Square, before and after. Here's a basic timeline for the Ukrainian protests: 21 November 2013: Ukranian Government announces EU Association Agreement being abandoned, prompting major protests in Kiev. This agreement was abandoned in favor of gaining closer ties with Russia. A provision in this bill would've allowed previous prime minister, Yulia Tymoshenko to leave the country. This was a big piece the EU wanted before doing business with Ukraine. 30 November: Police launch brutal raid on student protesters; TV images spur protests which grow during December. Vast crowds rallied on Kiev's Independence Square, defying a ban imposed a day earlier. Estimates of the numbers ranged from around 100,000 to more than 350,000. 17 December: Russian President Vladimir Putin offers economic lifeline to Ukraine, with $15bn of loans and cheaper gas supplies; protesters see it as Moscow buying off President Yanukovych. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said they had not discussed Ukraine joining a Moscow-led customs union. 16 January 2014: Parliament passes anti-protest laws, which opponents call "draconian"; most of the laws later repealed. The changes include a ban on unauthorised tents in public areas and criminal responsibility for slandering government officials. 19-20 January: Intense clashes. 22 January: First protest deaths: two people die from gunshot wounds after clashes with police; body of an activist found in a forest days after his abduction. 23-24 January: Protesters seize government buildings in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and other western Ukrainian cities; protests also spread east. 28 January: Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and his government resign. 14-16 February: Under an amnesty deal, protesters vacate occupied government buildings, and charges against those arrested dropped. 18 February: Parliament speaker rejects debate on changing constitution; violent clashes erupt in Kiev, leaving many dead. Summarized from a timeline on BBC, with a couple small additions.

Of all the Netflix originals, Hemlock Grove is the weakest. Meandering show, really kind of a filler for background noise. Mullaney, Oz won't be on Netflix in the foreseeable future, as HBO is highly unlikely to give out rights to one of their shows. But one can always hope I guess. Everyone else has covered most of the good shows out there, but if you haven't seen The Wire yet, that should be one of your list toppers.

The first official trailer is here. While DC says, "Wonder Woman may be too complex a character for her own movie" Marvel releases a movie with a talking tree and raccoon as main characters. Thoughts?

Keep in mind for a bill to be fully passed into law it needs to go through House, Senate, then be signed in by the governor. Remember your School House Rock. I'm just a Bill... I digress, It has passed the House, and is headed to the state Senate. It is a ridiculous bill, and if it passes the Senate and gets signed in you can expect a plethora of lawsuits. Kansas Senate President, Susan Wagle ( R ) has spoken out against the bill, and you can expect her word to have a heavy hand in many of the House members' votes. I don't think it will get past the Senate personally, and I'll be very disappointed in Kansas if it does. Even more disappointed than I am now that their House of Representatives passed this bill.

I was going to give it another go this weekend to see the changes in place. I launched the beta, only to find myself unable to log into my account. I did a password reset on the website, which sent me an email exclaiming "Success!" "Excellent," I thought, "I should have no issues now." Lo and behold: I attempted to log-in, only to be confronted with another exclamation of incorrect password. I went back to the website and tryed to log-in with my shiny password. "Incorrect password!" My machine screamed. "I'll best you yet," I replied "I can do another password reset!" Little did I know, the website wouldn't allow me to do another reset, and advised me to contact support instead. And so my attempt at playing the beta fails, after downloading 30 gigs for the launcher, as it can apparently not just use the old launcher, it has to re-download the game. To clarify, I did contact support, but I doubt they'll have remedied the situation before the end of the beta, especially on a Sunday.

Or Assassin's Creed: Mordor. There is controversy on whether or not the developers bought/stole the code for this game from Ubisoft developers who made Assassin's Creed II. Ubisoft has yet to comment. Either way to me, this game looks hella fun. I played Assassin's Creed II, and it is definitely similar in an "exactly-the-same" way. Still, I've always wanted a game like this.

A FLOOD OF IMAGES! Yea, I stole all of these images from Imgur. Want to fight about it?

This is over a 2 hour debate, just so you are aware before you decide to watch the whole thing. Bill Nye (born November 27, 1955), popularly known as Bill Nye the Science Guy, is an American science educator, comedian, television host, actor, writer, and scientist who began his career as a mechanical engineer at Boeing. He is best known as the host of the Disney/PBS children's science show Bill Nye the Science Guy (1993–98) and for his many subsequent appearances in popular media as a science educator. He studied mechanical engineering at Cornell University (where one of his professors was Carl Sagan) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1977. In May 2008, Nye was awarded an honorary doctorate by Johns Hopkins University. In May 2011, he received an Honorary Doctor of Science degree from Willamette University, where he was the keynote speaker for that year's commencement exercises. In addition, Bill Nye also received an honorary Doctor of Pedagogy degree from Lehigh University on May 20, 2013 at the commencement ceremony. Nye received the 2010 Humanist of the Year Award from the American Humanist Association. Ken Ham (born 20 October 1951) is an Australian young-Earth creationist who advocates a literal interpretation of the Book of Genesis. He is the president of Answers in Genesis (AiG) and the Creation Museum. In 1979, Ham co-founded what was to be later known as the Creation Science Foundation (CSF) in Queensland, Australia with John Mackay. Ken Ham earned a Bachelor of Applied Science, with an emphasis in Environmental Biology, at Queensland Institute of Technology and a diploma in Education from the University of Queensland. He has been awarded two honorary degrees: In 1997 from Temple Baptist College in Cincinnati, Ohio and in 2004 from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Both small snippets I posted above are copied from their Wiki pages.

A while back Bethesda released this cinematic trailer, "The Alliance" They've followed it up with this (still cinematic) trailer, "The Arrival" My thoughts whether or not you want them: I'm a sucker for cinematic trailers, even if they don't show any real gameplay. I loved the Star Wars: Old Republic cinematics, Return, Deceived, and Hope. But 14 minutes of blurry 720p that doesn't even feel 720p? Come on Bethesda, step up the game.

Woah, woah, what? That movie did badly at the US box office. On a budget of $40 million, it grossed $37 million domestic. For comparison, "Paranormal Activity 3" released that same month on a budget of $5 million. It grossed $104 million domestic. In Time was also given a Rotten(both critically and by users) on Rotten Tomatoes, which is pretty good at gauging audience reception.

Where do they go into further detail? Book 3 was split into 2 sections for UK publishing, George Martin did not write any additional content for it. Similarly, Book 3 was split into 4 novellas for French publishing, again no additional content added. Where did you hear they had more substance? Citation needed. -

Why do you have 2 Firefox icons on your desktop, coupled with an Internet Explorer icon on your toolbar, and a Chrome in both your toolbar and on your desktop?

Everyone point and laugh at Barry, he didn't get a beta invite!

The price I listed is a UMRP (Universal Minimum Retail Price) set by Microsoft. Prices can be higher than that, but they shouldn't be lower, give or take ~$1US. Unless it's not being sold by an official retailer, for example someone selling theirs on eBay or Amazon. Swedish online stores seem to have it available: http://www.prisjakt.nu/produkt.php?p=1932481 Although Microsoft doesn't actually have support for Sweden yet through their systems, so even if you get one in Sweden it probably won't work.
-
Lol it cost around 600$ in Norway. It would probably be a lot cheaper if you buy it in Sweden. Sources indicate both the PS4 and XBone price out at 4490 Swedish Krona. That's about $683.75 or €502.94.
