"It would double production time to have Female Character Model's" That is all. Ubisoft needs to pull it's head out of it's ass. As an animator with a competent team it would probably take about 2 maybe 3 days to make the 8000 animations for a female character model. These animations would not even need to be built from the ground up. You make a Male and Female character skeleton, take the male walk animation, substitute the Female skeleton and adjust the hip and knee's path and you have a female walk model, so on and so forth. I cannot in good conscience continue to purchase Ubisoft titles untill this blatant display of chauvinism is stopped.

Nintendo honestly was the only company showcasing what should be showcased at E3. Not look how pretty this is, or look how we refined the same engine from last years show. Instead they showed us new mechanics, story development, characters that are designed well enough for 3 generations to care about now, and beautiful artwork that while not as finely rendered or crisp is more fluid and aesthetically pleasing than any of the other companies have shown this year. Remember when they showed an E3 trailer, and at the end the year it said the game would come out was 2 or 3 down the line? Now they are like "look! we optimized our framerates, wrote a new script and made 6 levels! It's a "new sequel" to our "series" of "different" games. Pre-order it now and get this useless shit that makes you crazy op in multi-player, it'll be here in 2.5 months." What happened to E3 being about Innovation? I remember when Microsoft's little shindig was a 15 minute talk about what they were planning on for updates and then it went to developer's talking about the games that they are making and the ultimate bad asserey to come. Can I have that E3 back?

I find the easiest way to describe E-3 is one word. Lies In the last several years all that I have seen announced is rehashed crap, often on the same engine as the last installment of the series, and all of the *new and amazing innovations* never come to be, the games all end up being overly focused on graphical appearance, and things like a properly functioning run mechanic is not implemented on launch. Until some actually new games come out I think I'm good with DoD:S and the other games produced about a decade ago. Games that focused on being finished as opposed to pretty, games that focused on having a moving and powerful story line, games that had characters that you actually cared about. The application of a patch system is steadily killing games IMHO.

I can admit I have no Idea at all about the world cup and that was just obnoxious.

This was a glorious issue of the newsletter. Good job to everyone involved in the newsletter this month and thank you for the reports of our efforts in the field! My personal prefferance of alcohol runs pricy. If I was able to the only alcohol I would drink is Single Malt Scotch, aged 18 years at the minimum. My favorite was a glass of Glenlivet that was purchased in 1992, at time of purchase the bottle was aged 20 years. One of my best friends father busted it out for her 18th birthday (38 year old scotch!) and since then I've been a snob for scotch. For only shelf aged I love Glenlivet 18 and McCallan 18. Both are still aged in Oak Casks and have some of the sweetest aroma I have yet tried. If the only "Scotch" you are accustomed too is Johny Walker I strongly suggest going to a bar and picking up a glass of McCallan and see what it should really taste like. Now mind you most people think all scotch tastes foul so *shrug*.

I've got a few moments that compete in my mind for the best moment in the unit....... I think I will start with personal accomplishment and then work to other stuff. The thing that I accomplished in the unit for purely selfish reasons that I am most stoked about is getting the Advanced Rifle MOS, only took me 4 years to do it lol, I had to try so hard to even pass the Rifle MOS the first time (took three tries) and then I finally got the Advanced Rifle Ribbon. The reason I striven so hard for this is that I want to take the Sniper MOS, there hasn't been one that I have been able to make but the option is on the table. A general milestone that I am proud to have earned and never lost (knock on wood) is the fact that the Command Staff found me acceptable to be an Admin for the unit's servers. When I first got Admin I walked around with a warm fuzzy feeling in my gut for like days.... Yes I know not healthy find other hobbies blah blah blah. Fuck that I Eat, Drink, and Breath the 1st MRB. Now the accomplishment that I am equally proud of that wasn't something that I intentionally tried to get was when I was given the Squad Leader position in 1st Platoon Second Squad. As you can see I still rock my 1-2 patch, even though I'm in the Platoon Command Staff now, because I have all ways been in 1-2 since we formed up the platoons and all ways will . I was so stoked when 2nd Lieutenant Hall pulled me from my vent channel, well after I realized I wasn't in trouble or anything, and he asked if I would be willing to move up to the squad lead position. Times like that make me glad I use PTT in Ventrilo, I was squealing like a small girl child and chattering at my Girlfriend faster than she could understand. She looked at me like I was having a seizure or something. P.S. KK have shared what I wanted to... sorry for being all rambley and stuff but that's what I do well.

Thanks Heresy XD The issue I run into is the fact that my home was built in 1917. Meaning my walls have drafts and my foundation has drafts, we have no central air/heat and only 4 baseboard heaters in the home. I would upgrade the baseboard heaters to more efficient models if they existed and don't want to pay for central heating systems as they are crazy pricey and we just don't have enough walls for it to make sense.

So I want to work to get my home off the main grid or at least to a point that we supplement our own electricity. Since October we have averaged over 200$ a month for electricity which is killing us, like to the point of barely being able to buy food even with food stamps. I don't live in the most ideal location for Solar or Wind so I know fully off grid will most likely not be possible. After all Portland Oregon is more famous for raining than beautiful sunny days or crazy high winds. I feel though that even a small bank of small wind turbines would be enough to at least drop our electric costs. I am posting to see if any here in the unit have worked to have their home's renewable powered or if anyone has any idea's as to how to do so within city limit's without spending thousands up front. I have had the idea for a while to construct a bank of small turbines with copper coils and magnets within the central bearings (probably like a 15'x6' array with 12"-18" diameter turbines) to start with. So the issue I am running into is I don't know exactly how to get this generic wind farm to deliver power to either a battery array or directly to the house/meter. I believe I could construct the Turbine Array myself and mount it to my homes roof, I just don't know if from an Electrical Engineering standpoint if it would be functional/effective. Of course I would much rather be fully self sufficient but that most likely won't be possible within city limits and not being a property owner. I have thought of going with Solar power but the panels themselves are crazy expensive and beyond me as to how to construct. So if anyone has idea's about how I could jimmy rig a solar array of sorts that would be awesome. Mind you this would have to be set up with minimal funds, like I said we are getting murdered money wise by the electric bill. I am hoping to just kind of spitball about this until I can find a way to implement a plan of some sort, any tips on how to assemble a test bank or anything like that would be awesome! Oh and how to convert the generated electricity from Direct Current to Alternating Current, please Learnded peoples of the 1st, you are my only hope lol. I know this is a bit out of the range of the normal help the unit can offer, but brainstorming in a communal setting is great as it can turn an insane spark of an idea into reality. Love all y'all.

I'm glad to hear that you are ok Griswold! It must suck to loose the van but it sounds like you dodged the worst of it, and having an Angel's Mark sucks more than you would think. That seat belt bruise makes it hard to breath and bend (if it managed to crush your hips down too), have had several from being a passenger in wrecks and it blows major nuts.
