"Eternal Vigilance is the Price of Liberty."

Anyone, left, right, up, down, socialist, capitalist, RINO, DINO, etc... Who says that the war on terrorism is over, can get a swift kick between the legs from me, and most likely, every Soldier, Sailor, Marine, Airman, and our international allies.

He's dead. His organization lives on.

He's dead. The people who supports him lives on.

He's dead. Radical Islam lives on.

He's dead. Moderate Muslims continue to be silenced.

He's dead. But he's now a martyr to their cause.

I challenge anyone to prove otherwise.

He's dead. We've got a job to do.

oh christ. i swear if Obama goes down as the president who killed Osama Bin Ladin i will drop dead.

Sad, but likely. Bush will be vilified and Obama raised to messi- wait they do that already. We can only hope History is much more fair. But it won't. Obama'll just say "I won" and Bush is too humble a man to refute that.

Yeah I'm not one to rejoice at anyone's death, but like a mad dog, this one needed to be put down. Reap what you sow I guess. Of course muslim extremism will go on no matter what, but hey, it's a symbolic thing I guess.

I can't agree with you.

It's fine, I understand my political views strike many as wrong, even evil, but it's how I've developed in political bearings. I'm glad he's dead, but sadly, this is a PR opportunity for Obama and I doubt he'll pass it up, considering it's election season.

...So. He was buried at sea, no pictures, nothing. Doesn't that just say mistake, cover-up, all that..? <_<

No, it says that Osama bin Laden is dead. What possible reason could they have to cover this up? So Osama could make a video tomorrow, be like, "'Sup bitches?" And get the entire country livid at Obama? People who have committed war crimes are often cremated and buried at sea. That way, there is no chance the remains are "misplaced" or stolen and enshrined. Whether or not they will release pictures is yet to be determined.

Anyways, good riddance to an evil man, the world is a far better place without him. Credit doesn't go to Obama or Bush, or any other president, but the men and women of the armed forces and intelligence community who pulled off this operation.

Yeah the whole "buried at sea" thing really means they dumped him into the ocean along with the rest of the garbage so that there would be no grave site for his followers to make pilgrimages to and enshrine as a monument to the cause.

I guess in one way yes, but the real cause of him being buried at see is the fact that no country want to bury him. No one wants Osama in their back yard. And I do believe that if he was to be buried, his grave would be rather exposed to vandalism rather than as a pilgrim monument. Because anyone who would worship Osama Bin Laden has a philosophy of jihad which I guess can be looked upon as a potential terrorist threat. Osama is a "hero" for VERY few people.

Its really about damn time we snuffed his ass. we had many opportunities before but didnt take them. now we have to worry about retaliation. if this war keeps going on i may end up fighting in it in 2 or so years.
