What jobs do you all have?

I'm new to the unit and want to know a little bit more about everyone. I'm curious about what everyone does for a living or wants to do.

I work at as a sever at restaurant, however I am trying to break into the environmental field, with any job i can get. I graduated CU, Boulder, with a degree in Geography and a certificate in hydrology. My ideal job would be to work as a hydrologist for an environmental conservation organization, but i fear I will need more schooling for that.

How about you?

Classically trained in Psychology (bachelors degree), I'm also a USA Diving certified coach for the local park district swim/dive team. By day (full time) I do web development/graphic design for a small granite countertop shop (also was employed by the county to help with redoing their website as a contractor), I also dabble in a bit of programming by creating various little tools in Java & php. My last job I was a network administrator for a recycling plant with locations in 7 different states all along the east coast (our users had trouble figuring out that shutting off and turning on the monitor was not 'rebooting'), I was also the only help desk personnel they had.. I also worked in accounting for a number of years and dabbled in QA for the IT Department there. I also have a whole host of job experience in completely separate areas also. I've been around.

U.S. Marine (M1a1 Tank Crewmember), on my way out the door and back to the free world in 3 weeks. I'm working on taking on a contract overseas for some PSD/WPPS work with Blackwater (Xe/US Training Center) in Afghanistan. If all goes well, I should rake in a cool $135,000 at 75% non-taxable. Of course that is if I come back in one piece lol.

I am a member of the Armed Forces, though my job in the Marines, is 0651 Data Network Specialist.

I am basically a tactical nerd.

Recent University Graduate with a 2.9 GPA from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Majored in Government and International Politics (Concentration: International Politics) with a Minor in History (no concentration). I plan to obtain a job somewhere in this big, bloated machine called the Federal Government, particularly in a field I studied for and since I hear the State Department is hiring, they're getting my resume. That and Kim's dad gets one since he asked for one due to his work as a contractor.

Actual job experience? I work as a stagehand at my school's basketball arena during the Fall/Winter/Spring Basketball seasons. During the summer I work at a Live Nation venue called Jiffy lube Live (formerly known as Nissan Pavilion) as part of the parking staff. While telling drunk rednecks where to park is kinda sucky, we get the best perk out of all of the jobs at the venue. Once the concert starts and people stop coming? We get to go on 30min - 2 hour breaks and usually get to go out somewhere good to eat (while still on the clock mind you). Like Taco Bell, McDonalds, Five Guys burgers, etc... The people inside have to eat the crappy overcharged plain hotdogs and what have you from our vendors. XD;;

I am currently looking for full time teaching position as a High School History teacher somewhere in Ohio preferably but I am also looking outside of my home state as well. I sub, volunteer track coach, and work at a deli in a grocery store.

While he is not busy with those opportunities he is also coaching a prominent Glee club.
