I don't know if something like this was already posted, and frankly, I'm too lazy to look. Buuut, would it be possible to make unit T-shirts, available to buy from here? Or would that cost to much money? Just wondering, cause it would be awesome to go to school and be wearing a 1st MRB shirt! Personalized too would be awesome, like an army uniform with the name sewn or painted on. Thanks for reading this, sincerely, Damon.

I do have a T-Shop where i am, if i got paid for it i could make everyone T-shirts and (donate the money to the money) to the unit.

I do believe u can go to: http://www.storenvy.com/

I guess a MRB officer can set up a store.

We can submit some tshirt designs ( QM's I'm looking at you! ) which the officer uploads onto the website. Then he can just give us a link to his webstore and we can buy thsirt off the store.

The officer then donates the profits to the MRB

This would be much easier than going to a physical custom tshirt place.

I'm thinking maybe two or three people will actually buy our T-shirts in addition the time it will take to set up, maintain and advertise.... In my mind, the cost out-weighs the income. (And I don't even want to think about copyrights, trademarks, etc.)

If anything, Maj. Parker and I can look into it and the requirements. (Something to bring up at the next Staff Meeting)

Right I am working on a few Designs- will post as soon as I think they Are frosty- and looking into some copyrights and what not on what I can and cannot use-

Being we would not be making a revenue from them and it would be solely used to donate money to the server- Usually that means that some copyrighted material is not a problem, but I will look into it very carefully. I have done shirts before and have dealt with the process, IE a college not wanting to be named on a PUKEMON shirt I made.

Its a very Old topic- that I think I like to try just once- Anyone who would like to help with a design also feel free to PM me----

Making our Own image for the design without using Copyrighted stuff is the best way to do it- though I am willing to buy copyrighted images for a buck or two myself.

This is just a trial idea- If it is shot down- no harm no foul.

go to cafepress.com its $7 a month, and its taken out of your sales. my sister and i started a site there, well she started i helped with designs a bit, its a good site to sell anything from clothing, accessories, mugs, coasters, whatever really. they take whatever designs you upload and put them on merchandise... good way to sell your designs, and if you start a facebook page for that exact cafepress page, you can promote from there, also would be a good way to get people to possibly join our unit ^_^

just an option, I would totally be down for that

Off topic, and I'll check out that site Bunt, but when the fuck did this post get resurrected? I haven't seen it since I was a Pvt. Also, glad to see though that interest is still there. Good luck guys. Also Arevicci, I meant the unit, I was much younger then, bite me. A little thing as well, Dog Tags on maybe an engraving thing, to make cool designs as well would be neat. Any places for that? I have a place near my house that engraves shit.

Been working on it- but alot of redtape with finances- then the whole find an original picture design instead of dealing with the powers that be, who have now answered me:

You cannot use, copy, depict, or otherwise print any of the United States Military Insignia, as they are protected and copyrighted to their various branches and are protected by recent developments:

Except as otherwise provided by law, no person except a member of the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps, as the case may be, may wear -

(1) the uniform, or a distinctive part of the uniform, of the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps; or

(2) a uniform any part of which is similar to a distinctive part of the uniform of the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps

So there you have it- we need original Images- we cannot use any part of any insignia or otherwise USMC image....

It really is a good idea. If people want to make something for themselves, they are more than welcome to I would suspect. Just have the site text on the shirt somewhere so that you are identifying a gaming unit and not saying that you are part of a military unit. I can go anywhere online and get Navy shirts that have ESWS/Ratings on it without it being a big deal.

On a second note, if you are ever wanting to get into the biker community, be EXTREMELY careful with wearing shirts with diamonds with 1's in it (as depicted below). You may be mistaken for a 1%er and trouble would ensue. (Just a helpful tip.)
