Hey 1st Members!

I know I am on a sort of LOA while I am on leave to visit my family and fiancee, and to get married and all, but I thought I'd pop in. For my 21st birthday, my grandparents saw fit to purchase me a Glock 22 .40 Caliber handgun as a gift, seeing as how I'd been drooling over it for about 3 years. This prompted me to ask, what all do you have in your collections? I will post pictures up of all of mine when I get a chance, but I will list them off first!

Rifles:

Ruger 10/22 w/ Bushnell 4x scope and Mannlicher stock

Remington 2700 box fed .270 rifle, Bushnell scope

Mosin Nagant 91/30, circa 1943, with original bayonet, oil bottle, ammo belt and sling.

Shotguns:

Marlin 12 Gauge Breech Action, single shot.

Stoeger Arms Coach Double Barrel, tactical black, with flash light mounted on top

Handguns:

Ruger Mark II .22 LR Pistol

Glock 22C .40 Caliber pistol, compensated barrel.

Fairly small collection since I just stared lol.

Rifles:

Mosin Nagant Model 1891 with Bent Bolt 7.62x54mm

Savage Model 111 Package Rifle

Handguns:

Glock 17 9mm with K.P.O.S. Glock Conversion (would really recommend the conversion, absolutely fantastic!)

As you can probably see, my Glock is the favorite of the group lol.

Mauser K98

Shotguns:

Remmington 11-87 Supermag w/ Waterfowl print. (I love this gun)

Yama! I am very jelly of your WWII collection. I have my Mosin. My uncle has 2 brand new never before fired M1 Garands, but I would love to have a WWII rifle collection.

Richards, my dad has that Mossberg 500, but he has the 590 with the police tactical air cooled barrel and such.

And Glocks are amazing! haha

only thing i got is a SIG P226. Best gun company on the planet

I fired that P226 and I gotta say I was not impressed at all by the materials used to make that pistol, nro the way it felt when I held and fired that weapon. I'm sure some would like it, just like some people like the Beretta M9, or the IMI Baby Desert Eagle. I however, am not a fan.

Wow a Citori, nice choice! Do you do a lot of skeet shooting or something like that?

And how do you like your 700 SPS Tactical? There was a recall on the triggers not so long ago and I heard there sometimes are some issues with these rifles.

Right now I only own a 1944 Lee-Enfield No.4 MK I, but I am looking to buy a russian SKS and a Winchester SXP as an hunting shotgun.

I do a lot of trap shooting, I try to go once a week with friends. I tried my Citori this weekend and it was amazing especially with the improved modified choke on my bottom barrel and a full choke on the top.

I have had no problems with my Remington, it shoots like a champ. Good choices in guns, I think my next purchase will either be a M1 Garand or a colt 1911

I'm JUST getting into the sport of shooting and the hobby of firearm collecting so I don't really have a collection yet but I just recently bought a Mossberg Maverick 88 12ga as a starter shotgun.

I'll also be buying, in the near future, a Glock 17 gen4 or a Glock 34 gen4, a Ruger Mark III Standard with a 6in barrel, a Beretta 92FS, and a Walther P99.

My dream is to collect WWII era German firearms but many are restricted in Canada, like the Luger and the Walther P38. Maybe Quebec, being the black sheep of Canada will pass some weird law in the future allowing it! One can only hope.

All handguns for me:

Springfield xD .45

Smith and Wesson Bodyguard .380

Beretta 92fs

Ruger Mk III Target

Do you have those compact pistols because you carry? If no, do you have a license to carry?

I do have an Iowa CCW. (Concealed Carrying of Weapons) It's only (explicitly) valid for carrying in the state of Iowa. Some states will accept the Iowa CCW, but states like Illinois do not. Iowa will accept a valid CCW from any other state if you are visiting. If the establishment I'm entering has a request posted for no weapons, I will not carry it inside. I don't carry often, but I still do sometimes. I've only felt threatened once while carrying, but the situation didn't require me to even indicate that I was armed.

The only handgun I carry anymore is the S&W Bodyguard. It's extremely small, accurate, and comfortable. I have a Versacarry holster for my xD, but that thing is way too big to carry comfortably.
