I guess nobody else uses BackTrack. I've heard of it, but that because I'm a computer science major, I've never actually used it.

A friend of mine used it to steal WiFi from his neighbours, AFAIK to jack someone's WiFi it's some simple 4 lines in terminal for a WEP code, my friend wrote it down just for the hell of it.

Yeah, stealing WiFi is pretty usefull sometimes when u dont have an connection on ur own WEP is easy to steal, WPA2 etc isnt

Have you ever used Wireshark? It's a great way to sniff packages on your network. (And other people's networks if you're brave.) I've used it a dew times, but considering that there's 8-10 connected devices on my network, the data zooms by faster than I can comprehend.

Ofcourse i have used Wireshark

You can use it for millions of things, like getting peoples passwords, credit card information, reading peoples msn conversation etcetc.. All with right settings that is ofc

I've never stole anything either, well except passwords from friends etc just to show em i can do it.
