ping: 72-132 MS

DL Rate: .12 MB/s

Up Rate: .35 MB/S

on another site i tested on i got the following

Ping 81 MS

DL Rate .21 MB/s

Up Rate .49 Mb/s

the greatest part is i'm paying for 2 mb speeds, ranging up too 6 mb/s so i'm a lil upset; and dod:s has been sitting at a 0 byte dl rate fer about 20 minutes this is a completely new situation for me, even on my moms crap ass eMachine i could expect at least 100-180 kb/s. Brink is also dling and won't go past 40 my peak since rebooting is 67 kb/s

i'm already connected directly to my router/modem. they are one in the same with my 4g internet provider. it is Clearnet or some shit, says Clear on the bill and modem *shrugs* guy in the store tested what kind of connect i could expect at my house, and the store litterally two blocks away so i figured there internet was goin good and like i said this mornin it was workin tits and now nada.

i have reset my modem multiple times, reset teh factory defaults through my ip adress and still nothing, could it be something with my firewall and or ports? cuz regular internet is doin pretty good and my vent isn't too laggy, within norms for what i'm used to since i'm on the opposite coast and all.

would my netstat -na be helpful?

i'm already connected directly to my router/modem. they are one in the same with my 4g internet provider.

You are on a 4G wireless internet? ummm.... As in through a cellphone company? That might be an issue. So you aren't going through a wire outside your apartment/house/cell?

If this is the case, this might be as good as it gets.

However, can you run this for an hour or so when you aren't otherwise using the computer:

ping 208.167.243.207 -t >ping.log

Then attach the file once you are done with it. Its a Command Line. I'd recommend running that command in your root directory.

ya i'll give that a shot, i'll run it in the mornin, but for most of the day today i've had decent dl speeds, was runnin as fast as 1.3 megs this mornin and tapered off to about 600 kb/s but now it's back down again so i think it just diesnt like the fact that i'm downloading masive amounts of data

I think the main problem is that you're using cellphone type download speeds.

Your speed is going to be affected by how many users are on the network at that moment, who's downloading what and how much you've downloaded (with some companies). Very often they limit the bandwidth on cell phone downloads a TON - so you probably won't see the same speed as if you were using a dedicated DSL/CABLE line from a local internet provider.
