Yeah I used to stay up to watch the subbed japanese version as a kid, midnights on friday. There was blood, gore, nudity, swearing and lots and lots of screaming, it was awesome. Even had a picture card collection because back then the internet was balls.

Because by then I had seen My Neighbor Totoro, Harmony Gold's Robotech and Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Castle in the Sky, episodes of Transformers Gen 1, Voltes V, some of Mazinger Z, etc... Afterwards I saw Mobile Suit Gundam, New Mobile Report Gundam Wing, 08th MS Team, Cowboy Bebop, and various other shows that blew that fillerriffic show out of the water.

Hell it was full of several episodes of powerful and UUUUUUAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH and KKKKKKKKKAAAAAA-next episode-AAAAAAAMMMMEEEEEE-next episode-EEEEEEAAAAAAAAMMMMEEEE-next episode-AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH-next eposode- *dinky little attack that barely scratches the big bad*

Edit: Dragonball was even better imho. The show before this piece of shit that passed for Anime. But I'm too harsh, nowadays the new DBZ is Bleach and Naruto.

I fucking loved it! I used to be really good at drawing the characters, my dad thought it was too strong for me to watch when I was a kid :DD

I remember in 3rd grade i walked down the hallway and did that face where they powered up yelling and the moment i opened my eyes again i saw a teacher staring at me like i was crazy LOL

Rofl nice guess I got lucky not to get one! It was the same lady when I spelt out ASS instead ISS, looked at me weird too and as well the other kids.. innocent child me didnt know what ass meant in 3rd grade and I asked my dad and he got mad wondering where i got it from.. o_O

Needless to say its weird to see DBZ still showing, are they still making new ones or ended it when Buu died?
