What Mayweather did was dirty and classless but it was technically legal. Time was supposedly on when Mayweather punched Ortiz which makes it legal, everytime boxers start a fight the refs give them the same warning, "Protect yourself at all times". Now the issue I have with this incident is I don't believe time was on. Referee Cortez did have the time off after the head butt but you can never actually see him turn time back on in the video, when he was interviewed after the fight he told the media that he did turn the time on.

It came down to bad refereeing, Cortez should have separated both boxers and clearly indicate time was back on. If he had done that then Ortiz wouldn't have been going around the ring trying to continuously kiss and hug Mayweahter. Cortez is a hall of fame referee so he should have known better, it was poorly conducted. Bad Cortez, bad...

While the whole Pacquiao-Mayweather spats is under my radar, I find it funny that he's trying to make so many conditions before he can fight him. Also I doubt Manny would make Ortiz's mistake of trying to apologize to him if a similar incident happened. Such things will happen after the fight and not during the fight.

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello, Johnny Unknown Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel.   We have a BCT class every two weeks.
