It's geeky - but I was pretty excited.

Passed my 70-681 today with a 100% (didn't miss a single one!). I finished the test in under 6 minutes too! I'm now certified for Windows 7 and Office 2010 Deployment :-P - Officially a geek, working on trying to earn a good badge of geekdom.

I am trying to decide between Sharepoint next, or Exchange. I'd like to do Lync because I help setup the Lync Server we use for our phones at work, but I'm not sure if I can or not (yet). I'm thinking Exchange because it is so common in everywhere that has e-mail (which is basically any company). If you have experience with any of those 3 certs, let me know!

...to add to the true geekdom, at work today everyone was 'excited' to see this really nasty virus that hit a clients PC... oh nerds, we're so dumb (in a good way).

Jeez did you steal my life or something? This all seems very familiar...

I'll be honest. I have the Microsoft Server Windows 2003 cert, as well as the Server 2008 Cert, .Net Framework 2.0 cert, and the XP cert as well. I took the Exchange 2003 cert, and that was by FAR the hardest test I have ever had to take. I spent a full week studying and learning the material, and I still barely got a 50% on it when I took the practice test. I would say if you are going to try and go server admin, go get the Exchange, before you get Sharepoint though, as it will help with the Sharepoint learning process.

(Note: I taught myself how to do Sharepoint entirely from the ground up, during a build up for a Field Operation. Nothing says quick learning like necessity and 3 sergeants breathing down your neck..)
