I'm back... Was working on Extreme Makeover set

I ended up working and completing 3 of the 7 homes that the Extreme Makeover Home Edition were doing in Joplin, Mo. We started last friday and completed work on Tuesday. They accomplished the goal of 7 homes in 7 days. Here are a few pictures and you can find the rest here:

I arrived home last night and fixing to veg out and relax for today and play some Dod:s. After working 18+ hr days for four of those days I am wiped out.. Was a great experience and good times but glad it's over.

Cast, No man it was all volunteer. They did feed us good though :) Oh and to have a beer I had to leave the jobsite no beer anywhere near the homes. Security was tight, they travel with the show and all were pretty cool but nope no beer :(

I met all of them but by the time I thought of snapping a picture they were too far away. Let's just say that you should keep your thoughts of how they are on TV cause it really isn't the case. They were only around to do some camera recordings but most were pretty much out of site. The chick that wears all the pink... I was standing next to her on the porch and she had that "fake" talk going on and she said, "hear let me give you my best side". ( she turned away from me and stuck her rear end out towards me). I smiled and then said, "You should try again". I walked off... She was hollywood at it's finest.

It was fun all in all though.

See the shows we have here that do that kinda of work, one of them the semi main actress actual does work and she goes around businesses and pretty much begs them into give them free stuff lol. The other show that comes to mind all the presenters actual do all the work.

That's pretty sweet man, My sister also did the same thing when they came to Beaufort to build a house for a Marine's family while he was in Afghanistan. I'm surprised you didn't get to meet the stars of the show, she sure did:

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello James Buford, Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel.   We have a BCT class every two weeks. And when we were in combat I was usually assigned to lead my own squad.   Have you ever been in a realism unit before, and if so, which unit was it? yes.
