Oh and I watched the first episode of this new one called Hell on Wheels yesterday, WOW is all I can say, this one is going to be awesome!!!!

For me the real difference is that AMC is included with the price of cable (usually) where you pay extra for HBO.

I've got to go with HBO. I love Mad Men and Breaking Bad, but Game of Thrones ruined any chances that AMC may have. Unfair to AMC maybe, but I love that goddamn series enough as books, and I think HBO did a stellar job with the TV conversion. Still, I'll just watch both!

The biggest difference between these two networks is HBO allows nudity and a fuck boat of cussing while AMC allows some gore and some language.

It was sooo close for me, but after a lot of consideration my vote went to HBO. AMC has emerged as a series making genius because of shows like Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and Hell on Wheels, but I had to go with HBO just because they produced more. Rome was one of my favorite series ever as was Generation Kill, Entourage and Band of Brothers. Even today they are still spitting out great stuff like Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire.

Give credit where credit is due though, AMC is becoming a force to be reckoned with.

I watch more stuff on HBO however I do believe AMC is going in the right direction with these series, especially The Walking Dead (funny enough was an accidental success). But my vote goes to HBO only because I watch more shows on it, but AMC is close

Even though I love True Blood, and I loved Band of Brothers, Earth to Moon, and the Soprano's.... 2/3 of those are done now, and I still love Mad Men, Walking Dead, and I'm trying to get into Breaking Bad.
