I would because if this bill is passed. the U.S. has the right from the department of Immigration to extradite people from ANY country and be tried in the U.S. for piracy. and i mean any country. i mean they already demand extradition of a man in the UK. to be tried for piracy in the U.S.

I got a message before coming up when I was on these forums on my phone and it was like " this is what this page would look like if SOPA passed" and the page was mostly blank I was just like wtf

Its stupid and its ignorant of the people that are try to pass this law to think that it could even be enforced the idea that they will get everyone doing piracy through this is insane and it won't work in the same way they can't get drugs off the street, too many people do it. As if they are going to extradite people from anywhere most countries wouldn't even care

The bottom line is that these schemes can't actually work. All that they will do is force people to connect to servers outside the united states. They can't prevent that unless they're willing to also cut off the 'merican internet from the rest of the world's internet, which might force US based tech companies to migrate the majority of their business out of the states. Any attempts to legislate a closed internet short of actually cutting it off will just harm american businesses by pushing the users to foreign lands where their activities aren't as regulated and examined.

I call a sense of victory. The blackouts by websites (while I think sites like wikipedia doing the blackout might open it up to less neutrality and alot of bias in their content) have scared enough. Sen. Marco Rubio has backed off and so did many other GOP Senators and Congressmen/women. I personally thank everyone who is pushign this, as well as Rep. Darrel Issa and his colleagues for acting like an actual watchdog for the GOP and realizing this shit ain't gonna fly and has been lobbying against this since day one.

Now if his Fast and Furious attempts were more successful. But the DoJ and White House have been stonewalling on that since Brian Terry's death.
