RULES:

1. DO NOT EVER REFER TO ANY OTHER WEAPON BESIDES THE MP-40 AND THOMPSON ONLY THOSE 2!

1a. If you do refer to ANY other MODEL or VARIENT you arguement on that gun is USELESS and everyone will ignore it and WILL not rebuttle it! Now give this one hell of a debate

We got ourselves here America's Thompson against the Third Reich's

MY RULING

MP-40 due to the skeletal stock. (ease to use at different distances) Though the Thompson got the MP40 beat in caliber the MP40 is VERY relaible to me. Though i have not shot the Thompson as much i do with the MP40. i would have to say the muzzle climb is too quick on the thompson and more controllable on the MP40. the only downside i had with the Thompson was cleaning process it seemed a bit harder to field strip and clean than the MP-40 was too me. also i have to say i like the iron sights more on the MP-40 than i did of the Thompson.

I'd tend to agree with Engle. I have fired a fair amount of weapons, M1 Garand which was marked and having had seen action along with a good amount of older weaponry as well. I definitely have not shot either of these weapons MP40 or Thompson. That being said. The mp40 is immensely versatile and portable as well in comparison to the Thompson it is ever so slightly more of those two, versatile and portable. However the MP40 is found to be less accurate in its effective range. Also the damage inflicted by the Thompson is greater and more difficult to mitigate or deflect, as discussed above, it has a heavier fire power. There is a simple tactical and practical advantage to having a more accurate weapon which can prove to be crucial on the battlefield. I love the MP40 to death believe me, still I'll take Thompson for the win in this debate.

i like the thompson just because it has a bigger bullet and was one of the most important weapons in the us armys arsenal and i think the thompson was made before that time it was created by thompson 1918 with the classic gang look and later the us army adapted it for a smaller mag and no vertical grip and as said above the thompson is famous by gangs example like al capone machinegun kelly etc so i go with the thompson

As some people like these weapons, i have decided to try to make this a daily thing starting with ALL weapons in WWII (Making sure it's a fair debate of course). But i will try my BEST to make them fair i will try to cover the range of different fire arms includeing pistols, Sub-Machine guns, Rifles, Semi-Autos, Machine Guns, Etc. But i will not prolly go back to the days of flintlocks because those really relied on who had the better aim and who had the faster reload. But please give me feedback on this guys i don't mind doing this daily weekly or monthy. it's really up to you. I enjoy doing this since most of these weapons i have had a fair share of experience with (Except Machine Guns)
