My Ruling

Mauser Kar 98k

The reason i go for the Mauser Kar 98k is simply because of the bolt system on this baby. the throwback of the bolt is quick fast and easy. not to mention this gun is the basis of all of today's hunting rifles. and it was easy to field strip clean and re-assemble. not to mention i love some 8mm a bit bigger than the 30-06. Also the iron sight of this rifle is simply amazing. i love it, it's my favorite iron sight ever more preferable than the Spring Field 1903's.

The 1903 was a nice step up to previous rifles that the US used, but both Germany and Britain were ahead of them at the time. The Mauser does have a smoother bolt operation system and packs a punch. Accuracy between these two is almost the same and they both have a 5rd clip magazine. The biggest thing going for the Springfield is that it is still used as a sniper system in a lot of countries today and is still a huge fan among st the Marine Corps.

That is true that i agree with.

Either way both rifles are amazing that i can say is a fact. the only downside if you used these two weapons with sniper scopes was the Mauser you had to use a special tool to fix the scope sightings unlike the Springfield you could just use your own hands. but i mean both absolutely beautiful rifles.
