Thanks for posting this, very interesting. I'm a fan of Chomsky's works overall, and I consider myself leaning towards the center-left of the political spectrum. However it's important to remember that bad journalism is not exclusive to the right wing. Left leaning periodicals, newspaper and programs demonize the right, often using dubious and sophistic argumentation techniques. They simply don't have the media coverage that CNN or Fox (Faux) News have.

It's quite interesting to examine the massive influence the mediatic court has on modern affairs, quite often very pernicious. I personally try to stick to outlets as neutral as possible, and some left wing periodicals, though I do follow with great delight an excellent chronicler in a local journal that's very right wing. BBC and The Guardian are my primary sources when it comes to political issues.
