Were we not, like, rank 6? We were so close... What the Hell happened?!

We had a burst of activity just over a month ago, the monitor no longer takes that into consideration for the rank.

To answer the question at hand, the gametracker rank is based on the previous month's activity, plus it takes about 48 hours for activity to effect the rank. Say we had a really good Monday and Tuesday, our server rank would not portray the benefits of those days until Thursday night or Friday Morning. Server ranks are also updated every morning at approximately 1am EST, if that helps you get an idea of when the rank changes.

However, the 1st Lieutenant is right, this hardly seems like an issue to bring up on the forums, it's nice to have a good rank, but please don't over react when we lose rank. It's that kind of panic that negatively affects morale. We did have a long downtime, and the servers are still less than par for some people, we might see a decline in our rank until next week. I can understand the concern and the "want" for an explanation, but don't freak out, shit happens.
