I can't wait for it to come out. I played the 2nd one for like 3 days and completed it in like 32 hours, I was that hooked onto it lol. I tried mass effect 1 but that shit is nasty after playing 2. I'll get it on my PC most likely, i had the 2nd on my xbox

The ending?!!?! FUCK YOU!

I'm going to have to go with Cast on this one. I'm just happy I didn't drop $60 on a game that dropped the ball and shit on it literally 5 minutes before total awesomeness.

still havent gotten to the sex scene lol X\

Im definitely not one to breeze through any ME either. ive got like 13-18 hrs and still havent met with the quarians yet.

I love the way the multiplayer blends with the story mode.

I go for good girl, non-slutty. But this time I had my character have a thing with liara, she was always there you know after them scenes. Anyway I picked soldier for mass effect 2, this time I had her Infinator because I just loved shooting shit in the face with a sniper. Going to try something really different for mass effect 2, complete that then go though mass effect 3 with that same character. Was it just me or did mass effect 3 feel like it was missing something compared to the 2nd one. I don't know it just seemed instead of finding them assets you should have found random little mission to do, like rescue ops to get them assets. Instead of doing a piss easy scan and bam there you go you've got them on your side.

I played an Infiltrator with a Mantis and AP ammo. Did a complete run thru ME2 and ME3 with the same weapons, with the exception of 1 or 2 missions in ME2 where I needed the Widow.

The fact that I can carry an additional Avenger in ME3 is icing on the cake.

As for rep, I just go with the dialogue option that feels the best to me. Usually end up with a Paragade in ME2. In ME3 most of the Renegade options are just plain evil instead of badass (notable exception- WHO'S LIKE US?), so my character has become a paragon with some renegade in him.

Yeah I'm the same as far as decisions go. I usually choose what i think is best or what i would do in the situation. One thing that frustrates me is the difference between what the text says on the wheel and what Shepard actually says. Its like their summary of what he's going to say isn't close enough to how hes going to sound when he says it. its caused me to sound alot more like a dick rthan usual.

Cast, I've always been privy to Ash. Shes kinda retarded sometimes, but I'm more of a human kind of guy. I also agree that the asset searches are kind lame. They try to hard to have the explore the galaxy aspect of playing, and I've always thought they left alot to be desired. Exploring the galaxy always leaves me unsatisfied and feeling like ive been wasting my time.

One of my favorite things about me3: seeing all the characters from the other games in random places. I didnt expect to go to all these random planets for random assignments and find all my old friends haha. They also did an absolutely spectacular job of blending decisions from each game and connecting them all.

One of my work mates has this aswell and he said he somehow managed to get all the guys on his side. See when I played, in 2 places you had to choose between each side. You couldn't have both. How the fuck he managed it i don't know

You need to be either Paragon or Renegade enough to rally both to your side. It all has to do with choices that you've already established, so saying one thing like "screw synthetics" early on can make it so you'll never have the option to give the Geth a chance. It also has to do with characters who've survived through the Mass Effect 2 campaign, if you didn't have a strong following through there you'll have a tough time getting both sides as well. But those are just examples.

I also was able to get all "the guys" on my side, it's basically just knowing when to pander to one side or the other. Oh, and not fuck it all up by saying something stupid.

Yeah i just beat it last night, highly disappointed.

Have you read the whole indoctrination theory on the ending? Sure its profound and makes you think but fuck that.

One of my favorite things about the series was developing connections between my crew and the galaxy as a whole. After spending 30+ hours banding the galaxy together to fight the reapers, i'd like to actually know what the hell happened to everyone.

Bioware went in a totally different direction with the ending, thank god they're changing it!

It's only a possibility that they're changing it, they haven't committed anything solid. At this point, it's late for them to change it. Honestly, the Indoctrination Theory made me feel better about the ending because all of his points are very logical and on the money, but I doubt that's what Bioware would do.

I would go into more specifics about it, but I'm lazy and don't want to put spoiler tags, but Hey Zeus that was really bad. If they didn't even show what happened to everyone I would be fine with it, I just wanted an ending that made sense in the context.

If anyone is wondering if why I or anyone else is hating the ending (or should be hating) to the series, this goes into it pretty well. Also,

explains the Indoctrination Theory.

Although a forewarning, both videos are 20 minutes long and obviously contain loads of spoilers. So I'd only watch if you have beaten the game, or have no plans to play. And have 40 minutes to waste.
