Question

Posted (edited)

sorry my mistake holland, i didnt realise that something along these lines had been implemented in the MSO.

Name: Joshua Griswold

Rank: Gunnery Sergeant

Type of issue: Unknown

Brief Description of Issue:

So guys im having a problem with what i suspect is with my OS. My computer at times, while playing any game, will black screen. Both of my monitors Stop receiving information and any sound that was playing will loop until it shuts down and i can restart it.

The connection i have been able to make is that it only happens when i am playing a game, sitting idle my computer has never black screened.

Could it be because most of the application on my computer are 32 bit when i have 64 bit Windows 7? or is it something more complicated?

Any input to my woes would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for contacting the MSO office.

If your video card is not overheating or clogged up with dust as previously stated, please be sure that all of your drivers are up to date.

Out of date drivers can cause very annoying issues such as this.

Here is a helpful article of how to update your drivers; http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssuppo...riverupdate.htm
