As many of you know we were able to get the pub rank up to 196 for two days. Just after one day of little activity it has dropped back down to 202. If you're not around then you're not around. If you're online and just don't want to play that's fine. Do what I do sometimes. I'm very busy between school and my son, but if I can play I'll play. If I'm too busy then I ask that you just come in the pub, join a team, and sit in spawn as a number. Have someone TK you every now and then just to restart any afk timers: even though it is in spectator only I believe.

Just minimize your game and you can do whatever you need to then; however, once the map changes you'll need to get out of spawn again so just have someone on your friends list PM you when it changes. Pull up your game window, join a team, then minimize again and resume what you were doing.

The Pub is at that teetering point where it will fill up easy once we can get approximately sixteen(16) people in there. People have the server on their friends list and will play with us. We just have to get things started.

The contributions of all have been doing great so far and I think it's fair to say that there is going to be more great developments with the growth of this server and unit. Lets all join together and strive to bring this server into the top 150. There are weapon incentives in place by CWO Yamagata to help motivate the lower enlisted.

Ok this is getting quite pathetic now. The server rank is now down to 231. It just keeps dropping and dropping and dropping. The efforts being made to fill the pub are still done by the same dozen or so people. We need more people to come in and play. When we try to fill the pub it is kinda like people are discouraged and don't really bother coming in. Lets get in there guys and fill the pub.

posted announcements in the community and the private groups in steam. sat in the pub alone for 45 mins after that. 9 people from the unit were playing coh and logged into steam. the rest in game from the unit were playing il2. who's to blame for the rank dropping? every night i get a chance i put up an announcement in steam, and it's only the few couple people that show up. where's the pride and dedication? i'll sit in the fucking pub alone for an hour every night i'm home and if nobody wants to join me, then the unit's pub server will keep going the direction it has been. down. everybody wants to bitch about it but only a handfull of people actually want to get in there and do it. change it.

i think a reason might be that we dont have a required time amount for dod cause we choose to be more of a casual unit and i can see the pros and cons with that but you cant force people to play if they dont want to. cause thats what it comes down to if people really care enough to come pub or w/e. as long as you are doing your part lehman then thats about all you can do.

I know that I have over the last two or three days been playing COH, but thats because for the longest time I had the game and couldn't play it. That being said, I have on 4 or 5 occasions gone into the pub and populated it by hitting up my friends list and getting 12 to 18 people in the pub. It is really hard to convince some of the junior NCO's and Privates to sit in the server when there are no higher ranks (SSgt and up) in the pub to help control whats going on (maps, other players, etc.). Sometimes if I am on the computer but busy I will check to see who is in the pub and tell them that if they need help (kick, mute, ban, map change, etc.) then they can PM on steam and I will be in there to straighten things out.

We have to decide whether we are going to act as individuals or as one dedicated unit. We can't rely on the same people to do everything always.

this is how i see it:

Don't feel forced to join the pub.. if you are in a game in COH you don't have to leave it to come help the pub. when the game is done you can help populate the server..

And besides there are sometimes i just cant take DOD becaus i think its a tad boring at times. thats why i take a break sometimes and play other games.. But If you totaly lost your interest in DOD you sure can help out in other parts of the unit or simply leave, we are a dod unit. if you find COH more fun i guess there are units or clans for that.. (or other games)

my point is.. Don't play DoD and get bored (ofc you should help out the unit, sit in spec etc.)

Am i wrong or right? just my 5 cents!

Well it's been about a week now and the server rank has shot up 20 spots from 239 to 219 now. It's beginning to rebound nicely. Keep it up guys. We're doing good.

Well we've all been working hard lately to get in the pub to help bring the rank up. Thank you to all those who have helped and will continue to help. In the past three days though everyone has been playing other games which is fine. Totally understandable that you will get tired of a game and need to play something else. Also though, the server rank has dropped by nearly 20 points. Lets start to get in the pub again. Lets all try to make a united effort this weekend and keep the server rank above 200. We've all done well so far, lets go beyond and push for more. Oh there still are no weapon restrictions until the 7th. Take advantage of it boys.

yes we sit in spec, but we're still in the game helping out the rank unlike some.

If we're in spec and online shoot a PM. We may not know that you're in there. I know I minimize my window so I usually don't see who's in there.

Friendly reminder everyone. The pub rank is at 77th overall. The 1st members will earn 4 days of no weapon restrictions if we can get the server at 75th or higher. Lets get it done so the 1st guys don't have to PTU for everything.
