I love cars and work on them all the time. I was wondering if any one else is a big car fan and what types of cars do you like? My personal favorites are Subarus of almost any sort, and Im a little bit of a muscle car fan I must admit.

Yay another car person sweet... im a huge car fan Mainly Audi (i know expensive right?!?!) right now i have a '97 A4 just put it on coilovers loving the chin scrape *sarcasm* looking to replace the turbo so i can get my power back woot woot and after that its up in the air.

Epic!, my uncle has an 04 A4, wasn't a fan of it honestly. great car and handled awesome but he had the 1.8t which just had to much lag for how little power. I couldnt deal with the lack torque too, im used to my v6 mustang, i know its only a v6 but im only 19 and cant afford the insurance of the v8 yet, i have plans though. It still manages puts down about 250 lbs of tq and 200 hp with the few minor mods i do have done. (17x10 torque thrust wheels, 1/2 inch wheel spacers, K&N intake, Flowmaster dual exhaust, NRG racing seat).

The 1.8T on the bigger A4s is a little under powered and thats why they got reid of it and use the 2.slow instead on the other hand the torque has never been an issue in mine or my buddy's TT... dream car though Evo IX

EVO's are boss as hell. I just with they did what subaru does and offer a cheaper model to compete with the wrx, so i wouldn't have to pay like 40,000$ for one lol. dream car though, definitely a Ferrari Testarosa, its got a fricken flat 12 in the rear. if it were twin turbo-ed it would be like having 3 sti's in one motor not to mention that its a Ferrari!

I'm a car fan too, I was almost about to get an 06 A4 and decided not to. I'm driving an 05 Mazda6 which I'm pretty happy with, the handling and acceleration is outstanding and in my opinion better than a BMW 335 which is about 15K more. The downside is the 3L V6 engine which consumes my gas money like a mad man, but omg it is a fun car to drive.

In all honesty my next car might be the Subaru BRZ, it's not as powerful as my Mazda6 but I really like the aesthetics of the car and its weight. It's a fairly light car so I could pop in a super or turbo and boost it that way to make it one hell of a ride.

I have a Mazda3Speed- fun love the car-

I love american Muscle though- very impractical these days though due to the gas prices.

Used to own a 1971 Chevelle SS and A 1987 Monte Carlo SS easy to fix and fun to sup up.

I have to sell my 02 Lancer Ralli Art when I get back from this deployment. Gotta sell the yellow rice runner and get something a little more durable and reliable. I'll probably be selling it to a friend who I know will take care of it, and then get an Ford F-150 or something. I really kind of want a truck lol.

Literally the difference is the badge on the hood and i believe they have slightly different bumpers but i would personally go with the subaru BRZ due to my bias and the fact that i trust a subaru shop more than a car company that is know for having millions of recalls a year

I wouldn't bother waiting for the sti version only because its not going to have a turbo on it and it wont be AWD either for the increase in price your only going to get a carbon fiber hood, a spoiler and better wheel and 50 more horsepower. Might as well buy the base and do the upgrades your self to save lots of money and get a better end result.

Citation Needed. I'm surprised you weren't referring to Subaru. Every car company has recalls and exclusively putting those onto Toyota is somewhat ridiculous. You can be biased towards Subaru by all means, but don't allow bias to put misinformation out there. I'm not trying to say that the Toyota recalls weren't a serious issue, as blown out of proportion as they were, however Toyota isn't known for "millions of recalls a year."
