FOOLISH ONE!!! THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN G1-G3 crab cakes AND G-4 crab cakes!!!!! LAUREN FAUST CHANGED EVERYTHING WHEN IT CAME TO MY LITTLE crab cake! TIS TRUE THAT THE OLD FRANCHISES DIED BECAUSE THE CHARACTERS HAD NO DEPTH, NO PERSONALITY, AND NO LIKABILITY. BUT LAUREN FAUST THE GODDESS OF ANIMATION AND STORY TELLING MADE THIS SHOW RELATEABLE NOT ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL TARGETED AUDIENCE, BUT TO EVERYONE WHO WATCHES IT!!!

AND BESIDES YOU LOOK ME IN THE VIRTUAL EYE AND TELL ME THAT THIS ISN'T THE CUTEST BUCKING THING YOU HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!

its down the road, not across the street

He's telling the truth man!

Anyway, crab cakes are more likely to be run over when going down the road, multiplies the chances of getting hit by a fast moving vehicle, preferably decorated by large spiky objects.

To maintain neutrality though, Grant. I will accept that medal.

In all seriousness and I don't mean to offend anyone because the last thing I want is another morale topic, but Grant are you gay?

... Well, to be perfectly honest I wasn't ready for that... I have addressed this before and I guess I will have to do it again. This is not the first time I have had this argument brought toward me and I assume that it will not be the last.

*Being an officer I say everything I am about to say with respect accorded to that rank.

I wanted to keep this "war" as a fun and time consuming thread. However, I must address this issue once and for all. So I am switching this to a serious post.

I am not gay nor is the majority of the community that follows the show. I find it quite frankly ignorant for one to formulate an opinion based off gender and social stereotypes. Why am I not allowed to like a show for girls but it is more that accepted, even praised, when a women likes *insert manly thing here(i.e. guns, sports, ect.)? While this argument is an old one it still rings true today. Even more than that however, this show, I now firmly believe, saved my life. Literally. When I was first introduced to the show I was a depressed, cynical, hateful, and downright terrible person to be around. I was going through the hardest year of my life (freshman year at the citadel) and my life looked as if it was going nowhere. This show, and subsequently the community that it spawned, brought me out of that void. It helped me see that there was something worth living for. It took a while, but for the first time in my life, I have found a true, IRL, friend (no offense to you guys in the 1st), and it took little colorful crab cakes for me to see that. While many of you see the show as some little girl's show, to me it is so much more than that. In fact, I don't ever remember being so attached to something in my entire life. I will wrap this up because like you said Parker, I don't want this to change the thread at all, but just know that I owe my life to this show and nothing will take that away from me. Call me gay and think what you want, but know that I have a community that is more than accepting of all kinds of people. I would like, nay, love to say that I have two communities that I can fall back, but with such ignorance, being bountiful here, I am not so sure anymore. I love the 1st MRB and I will do anything I can to support it, do not mistake my anger towards you guys personally. Us crab cake enthusiasts are attacked with this stuff on a daily basis, but we will not stop believing that we can do some good in the world in the end.

I am a proud crab cake enthusiast and I stand for the community with this post. Again I mean all of this with the respect and tolerance that we crab cake enthusiasts stand for. If any other crab cake enthusiast sees this and feels that I am in the wrong with what I say, please let me know.

I have said what I wanted to say and I don't want anymore to come of it.

LET THE WAR RESUME!!!!

I didn't call you gay I asked if you were gay because the norm in the society we live in, whether you agree with it or not, would dictate that show being for little girls as you put it. I'm glad you found something to bring you out of dark times in your life and I was merely just curious why you love that show. I'm not ignorant, I'm realistic.

I do agree with your statement that the norm of society dictates what each gender should do to fit in with society, however I counter with this question: Is it right? Should continue to live by these social codes or should we try to break them?

I did not wish to call you personally ignorant, merely that the idea of conforming to these societal laws is ignorant. If we wish to see this world truly change for the better, which I know most of us do, then we must rid ourselves of the terrible standards. I go to the first military college to allow females into it's halls. Every day these women perform just as well or even better than the men do. Yet societal laws previously dictated that they were unfit to command, I personally don't believe that this is right. I respect your opinion, but I refuse to believe that its true.

Now again I would like for this touchy issue to be dropped so that the battle may continue and more fun can be had. :D

can i ask why is my little crab cake so highly praised?

Follow this link here. I have already explained this to a certain degree on this post. Follow the links I posted on that one.

Any more of this argument can be posted on that thread because like Parker said first and I agree with, I don't want this thread to get too heavy with that kind of thing. If you want to argue on a personal level, then message me on steam, send me a pm, or something.

Now back to what this thread was about... TO DEFEAT THE HATERS!!!!

i dont understand why crab cake enthusiasts keep on making pictures of crab cakes with swords or guns or mega robots when your ideal is to spread love but are you trying to spread love with hate because those machines are often combined with hate so keep on posting those crab cakes with swords standing on two legs because it will only make it worse for you.

heres the thing, i was planning on saving this for later, but i figured now is the best time to bring this up.

crab cakes with swords, and guns that say love and tolerate. well guns and swords are symbols of violence, violence is also caused by hate, hate opens up to anger, anger is also a form of hate, and they always lead to war. Now a days we fight wars with guns, back in the mid-evil days, it was swords, so crab cakes go against what they stand for.
