Ok so if you don't know by now, my steam account was hacked into and stolen from me. I contacted Steam twice about it now to ensure they're looking in to the situation. When I was looking around for any information at all on Steam I remembered how my account was hacked. There was a link that someone on my friends list sent to me to join a steam community. It looked legitimate and opened it up. The page that it pulled up was exactly like this one. So I logged in to check it out and I think that was when the hacker was able to get my account information. The hacker changed my name to SWAT. Go through your buddy lists and see if the name is in there. If so delete it. I don't want it spread to more people throughout the unit.

FOR ALL 1ST MRB

Go into your Steam setting and Make sure that your contact email has verified in brackets bext to it.

If this email says unverified any person who logs into your steam can change all of the info..

Once you go through the verification process that ability is no longer possible. Once an account has a verified email address any attempt to change the accounts password or contact email will send a confirmation code to your email and thus making hacking your account 10 times harder, they would need to also hack your email to complete the changes.

Damn, that sucks. Are you going to get a new account or try to recover yours?

I did that once, a while ago, so I changed my password and secret question, so it wouldn't be hacked. Then recently, I couldn't remember my password, hahaha, or the secret question. So I got to open a ticket with steam, provide part of my credit card number that I use to buy games, and 2 days later, I had it reset.

All good now.

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello B. Calypso, Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel.   We have a BCT class every two weeks.
