I'm just going to say this, and I know I will get a lot of flack for it, but I find it funny how much people want to see LeBron James fail.

My question is, why?

He brought a dead team to a team that had 5 amazing years of playoffs, including a trip to the NBA finals that LeBron brought them too pretty much by himself.

And yet he became one of the most beloved people in the NBA and all of sports to the most hated because he left for Miami for a better chance to win a ring.

I would like to see anyone not take a chance to join a better team to become a champion. All great NBA players who have won a ring has done it with another superstar, every single one. Michael Jordan had Pippen, Shaq had Kobe, Kobe had Gasol, Tim Duncan had David Robinson than Tony Parker and Manu.

And the argument that people hate LeBron because of the way he left the Cavs, but does anyone honestly think that the 2-time reigning MVP who was a free agent wouldn't have a television specail about where he was going to play?

Personally, I think people are so threatend by LeBron because he risks anyone's favorite team of losing, that is why people still hate him.

That's because OKC is too big to even get in the paint.

The only real threat they have is Serge, Perkins is an over-hyped defender, but is an amazing rebounder. Miami got off to their hot start because of jumpshooting, and they kept playing like that the rest of the game. There was about 5 or 6 times where LeBron and Wade sized up one-on-one and just took a jumper and I think he missed all of them.

You can't just win with jumpers, you need points inside the paint.

I personally don't feel any hatred towards lebron for leaving Cleveland. I just think he's a classless whiner. He's an amazing basketball player, but he's not a good teammate and i think thats why Miami aint gonna win.

OKC is a REAL teams. The Mavs were a REAL team. Thats why they beat them

I'm just going to say LeBron is probably the most selfless person on the Miami Heat and probably the NBA. He loves setting up his team mates more than he does scoring, he sets up plays and passes perfectly to team mates when their open other than trying to score himself like Bosh or D-Wade does.

Not really a question of Bosh healthy or not.

You can't start a NBA finals game 25-8 and hope to win.

OKC is the stronger 2nd half team so as long as they keep it close in the first half, the trophy is theirs to lose imo. But it's certainly shaping up to be a 7-game gem.

And as far as the Lebron hate goes, it's not so much the player as the perceived arrogance. However, crap like that can change if/when he starts winning titles. As far as I'm concerned, Lebron is the best player (physically) the NBA has ever seen. Mentally, he's got a ways to go before he's even in the discussion with the likes of Nowitzki, Rondo, Thomas let alone Jordan, Kobe, Bird, Magic. This series will go a long way to showing he's ready to match his physical talents with a cold-blooded will to win.

And as far as the stupid glasses go, I guess if I made THAT much money, I'd probably not care how I looked to others lol

But man, RW, the disco age passed. let it go. Focus on not making boneheaded plays.

I'm saying Heat in six games. There is nothing more demoralizing to a team that was that close to pulling another win, going up game 2, losing, and now have to play 3 straight games away from their insane crowd.

As for the LeBron arrogance, I can see why some people hate him because of that, like the "Not 2, not 3, etc" he said, but people forget how many people said something like that in their prime, Kobe, Shaq, Malone, Michael Jordan were the most hated players in the league at one point because they held the same arrogance.

But I think LeBron has changed comepletly than he did last year, last year he loved being the villian in the NBA, I think that is because he was safe guarding himself from all the negativity he was getting. This year he just has that determined look. And to top it off, he is playing clutch . Down 2-1 in the Pacers series, he was insane as well as being down 3-2 against Boston. And that bank shot he made last night to put the lead up by 5 points was just insane.

I love this series, its everything I wanted to finals to be.

Magic Johnson was quoted to have saying that Westbrook's

performance in Game 2 was the "worst" by a point guard. 27 pts on (10-26 shooting), 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. Took 4 more shots than Durant.

I semi-agree with Magic.

Westbrook is a pure shooting guard and was put into the point guard position when he was drafted by OKC.

In terms of agreeing with Magic, Westbrook is probably hands down the worst point guard as an NBA starter, he doesn't know how to run an offense and get things going for players that need to get going, AKA Kevin Durant who in this entire finals has been virtually playing one-on-one, which shows why he was 2-6 with 4 points in the 4th quarter tonight. (Game one he scored 17 points and game 2 two he scored 16 points in the 4th)

I do disagree with Magic that Westbrook still brings a lot to the table, he can score and be aggressive on both ends when he needs to be. But than again this is not his team, it is Kevin Durant's team and it needs to be played through Durant not Westbrook. Something he has improved on a little bit from last year's playoffs, but still doesn't know how to do this.

At the bar with my friends I told them this right after Game 2 and I will say it again, if OKC is going to lose, it is going to be because of two people. LeBron James and Westbrook. It is Westbrooks game to lose every game as long as he keeps up doing what he is doing, try to become a stat-number star and not choosing to lead the team like a true championship point guard should.

The only Point Guard that put up those type of numbers is Derrick Rose, who is pretty much the only offense the Bulls have consistently. But OKC has Durant and Harden to be their primary scorers.

If Westbrook wants to be, and he does, to go down as one of the greatest Point Guards to play in the NBA, he needs to drastically change his style of play, he is not a shooting guard anymore like he was at UCLA.
