Ok... this is a kinda weird idea, and I don't know if it is even possible.

But basically, since a number of military units include a troupe of musicians, I was wondering if we could do the same?

The technical hurdle, however, is a complicated one... if anyone knows of a low-latency method of connecting musicians

in different places round the world that would be handy, but I suspect no such method is both reliable and free.

Alternatively, any musicians could record their individual parts and submit them to whoever is in charge to mix them

back together.

So basically - is this a good/possible idea? Please say if it isn't... I have a lot of bad ideas so I'm comfortable being told

that I suck! And if it is a good idea, what musicians do we have, and what instruments do you play?

Myself:

Piano

Organ

Vocal (Bass/Baritone)

+ I know how to use Reason & Cubase

Cool! We have a few musicians! Vocals, Drums and Flute seem like the most appropriate instruments

we have so far, for a military band.

Another related idea I had, was to write some 1st MRB song(s).

There could be a few... a traditional Marching tune played by a brass band would be quite professional,

but we could also try and come up with a few of our own verses of "I don't know but I've been told...!"

One thing though... is anyone any good at writing music?

Its something I can do, but I'm not good at it... I usually end up accidentally plaigurising something else,

and the only original sounding material I've ever managed is weird electronic stuff that no-one likes!
