Resolved- Speakers or headphones don't work

Type of issue: (Software, Hardware, Steam, Not sure) Hardware

Brief Description of Issue: When I got a new mic Tuesday we found that the front mic jack dosent work so we plugged the mic in through the back jack. As of yesterday my brothers told me that there was no sound coming through the speakers so this morning I restarted the computer and tried to see if it worked and nothing. I thought it was just the speakers but when I conect my headphones it says it reconizes them but still no sound comes through. Now I checked all the volumes and nothing is muted and I unpluged the speakers and put them back in and still no sound. Any help on this would be great :)

ok don't know what I did but I noticed the wave volume was low so I turned it up and now it works. Thanks Bryant i'll get you a cookie :)
