Well, I bought it yesterday, installed it at midnight, and beat it by 6:30 this morning. It was an intense action movie of a game, but the plot was borderline absurd. Ignore that, and it was fucking awesome. Anyhow, i had my doubts, and although it didn't meet up to all my expectations, it was a good game, and i haven't even tried Spec-Ops or the multiplayer yet.

I don't know... It's just so damn expensive for what it offers (which is less than the last Modern Warfare).

Yea, it was a bit disappointing with the story and how it played out. The gameplay was pretty good though, and spec ops can be real fun trying to run it with a buddy. MP on the PC is fun but still frustrating because of the whole p2p issue and lag, and hoping the game you get into has little to no lag, even though iw claims their iwnet takes you to good ping servers.

Those titles and emblems also spell console port for me, since these were first started on console games, and this is the first pc game that I personally have seen them on.

Had a couple minor instances of P2P lag but oh well, the game works well still.

Even if it's the best game on the market right now and the sales record was shattered with it, I still refuse to pay that much for a game. Perhaps when it hits $30 or so I'll get it. $60 is a rip off.

Agreed! Sorley bought it, beat the single player story in a few hours, and played some multiplayer... It looks decent, just not $60 decent.

was it worth $60 to me? well after playing it on my brother's computer i went out last tuesday and bought my own copy. the game is fun no ifs ands or buts about it.

Got it for Christmas (which means, I didn't pay a cent for it) and I must say, "I love it." First CoD game that's in my possession, and I am pretty much infatuated with it. I adore the engine, the graphics look top notch (although I with the anti-aliasing was higher, but you can barely notice anything jagged at all). I love the MP, but I am just not a big fan of SP, simply because I don't like getting frustrated over doing things that don't give me any return of accomplishment. Maybe Spec-Ops, because you can brag about beating that on Veteran, and it's specifically hard. Anyways, one again, "I love it."
