hey guys, just wanted to know if anyone knows about the Day Z type game called War Z coming out tonight for alpha and october 30 for beta. they're selling packages at varying price for either alpha access or beta, plus the bigger packages come with in-game cash and your own server. i paid for the highest package and got a server for 6 months. if anyone is gonna be playing just talk to me and i can set a personal slot for your account if i'm correct.

Hmm seems like a better version of DayZ?

Uhhhh, it has better graphics. It is hard to tell which one is better. As of right now DayZ has more content, but WarZ people are in beta right now, still making more stuffs. So could be in the next few months warz has more stuff. They are talking about adding vehicles, more guns, more maps, stronghold servers (not 100% what that means) as well as other stuff. So it could potentially be bigger and better than DayZ, but for right now, DayZ is bigger map wise lol.

Not nearly as many as dayz as far as I understand. Since it is not a mod, there is no way of importing the nukes or vehicles or weapons that should not be in the game. So I've been playing for probably 3ish months and have only come in contact with 1 maybe 2 hackers, and it was the basic can see you through walls kinda thing. Also people have reported invisable players. Also, just recently there has been an update to their anti-hacking system, so probably less hackers than before. So I'd say pretty few hackers, but probably enough to piss everyone off like other games lol.

I don't like the cartoony look of Warz. Also it seems to be more of a typical FPS zombie game rather then the realistic fps that Dayz is. I'm reserving full judgement until the Dayz Standalone comes out.

i agree wih morton. Seems like someone put CoD with DayZ and then made it clunky. Ill stick with roaming around DayZ healing the wounded and killing the bandits..... that is when my comp is out of the shop

I've read a lot of backlash from Reddit's gaming community on WarZ. I've heard it is badly designed and that the company that made the game is looking for quick profits and that they are screwing their consumer base. It might be isolated or it might be large, idk, I don't play this. Although, from what I've read, I wouldn't buy this game just to be safe. This may be late, but just FYI.

Yea I've been keeping up with this, it seems that some moderator got angry with how he was treated by the developers and made up some stuff about the game and what not. As far as I know it is all abunch of lies, but might be some merrit to some of the stuff, cant be sure. There is a youtube video of the moderator apologising for creating the rumors.

I got the game a couple of days ago, and I'm loving it! Personally I dislike DayZ because my computer can't run it very well and the UI/overlay/whatever confuses me to all Hell. WarZ, however, runs at a comfortable FPS on my machine and it doesn't really seem all that different, minus you start out with stuff (first 5 characters, not overpowered), the map isn't too gigantic, and the zombies are super easy to melee one at a time (boo).

I don't like random jerks that go around and kill you for no particular reason, but there aren't any rules against it. It's a zombie apocalypse, so if you want to survive, don't be seen or blow them away before they shoot you.
