oops I forgot about this thread and the synopsis! I DID get em! I don't yet have permission to send out any though; hopefully by Christmas since I'm banking on using them as gifts to a lot of people. If you haven't yet, SEND ME ADDRESS. I got 45 of em, and maybe have 8 family members and another 10 friends, so LOTS to go around. Synopsis wise, I'll either write something tonight or just use what's on the jacket (which honestly doesn't give the story much credit but was not my choice) : D

Gracias! And I guess there's only one way to find out; buy it if it comes out! : O ~ No, I haven't done any publicity for it; there was a page in Penguin Groups publications on me a bit ago but I'm not sure if it is there now. You can be sure as soon as I start, I'll make a big fuss here though.

: D YAY, Thank you! Parker asked me the same question yesterday; I've never heard of it since I know next to nothing of Canada, and am also not in charge of distribution at all, but if it sells enough once pre-sales start (I BELIEVE 500+ gets extended North American release I was wrong, it is based on sales after release, so probably no Canada on the 13th ), I imagine it should be. Worst case, it'll be on Amazon/Alibris/Abebooks, that I know for sure. I'm going to bring it up today when I talk to them though, seems pretty big up there!

Almost done with the press release; will post it here!

AND GOOD NEWS EVERYONE, I got permission to send out advanced copies for Christmas, so expect them come Dec 24th or so.

And I still have a few more copies to give out so if you want one, send me your address and if you want something signed on it (Like how Brown is the greatest DOD player in the history of all DOD players, something like that maybe).

When you're signing the books you should make up a little inside joke/story involving you and some random famous person and sign the book to them. That way everyone gets a signed copy of your book that has extra resale value because it's "Morgan Freeman's" copy of your book.

(In all seriousness, I have only been really worked up over ONE movie in my life: "Irreversible", due to an extremely graphic portrayal of murder (with a fire extinguisher) and Monica Bellucci's horrendous long-take rape scene. I wanted to see how it could be done in paper, so I researched and wrote one back in college, got boo'ed out of my college writing class (really the wrong venue for that type of shit, but I was 23), and worked it into the book's narrative. It is tough to read (was fucking tough to write), but I believe it is essential for the reader to really understand why the characters do some of the things I have them do, making that pivotal scene necessary.)
