=/ Cats are chill man... Dogs need too much attention. Besides, this one dog I have keeps on tearing shit up, and I beat the fuck out of him. He really built up a cost in damages and still doesn't learn when you beat the fuck out of him. So I'll go with a cat because at least they don't eat socks and try to eat shoes.

You'd rather have a cat, that only likes you when it wants to, and is a bitch 99% of the time. Not to mention scratching the shit out of all your furniture, pissing on your clothes and making you smell terrific, and let's not even mention how lovely that litter box makes your house smell. They can't be house trained, they shed constantly, they puke hairballs all over the place.... and nothing smells worse than that crazy old cat lady we have all seen come in the store, buy 74 dollars worth of cat food, and some bananas for herself.

Dogs love you no matter what you do to them. They truly are man's best friend. Sure they chew on shit, hell mine does all the time. My Pit didn't chew anything, never shit or pee'd inside, and attacked a few dogs that probably would have bitten me if she hadn't been there. Show me a cat that will do that.

Fuck cats.

Meh, I had a cat and a Dog almost all of my life... They both have their faults, and they both have their loving attributes. Personally, I love my cat and my dog. I like to walk my dog, but I like the affection of my cat too. I could play with them both for hours. Both make great pets, they are just very different.

I agree with ford completely on this. my pit/mastiff has saved me from getting bit a time or two. And honestly you could sit and tell your whole life story to a dog and you'll have someone to talk to! A cat just gets up and walks away. Its more of a loyalty thing. Cats know your their foodsource, so they chill with you, Take their food away for a day...lemme know how they treat you?
