New York people!! What are your recommendations? I'm here until Saturday and I have no plans- what should I go see?

Don't mention museums, because I already know which ones I'm interested in visiting. I'm thinking other interesting activities sites?

Hit me with 'em

Visit the Empire State Building.

See a comedy show @ Carolines or the Gotham Comedy Club.

See some live music in the Village @ Kenny's Castaways and The Bitter End.

Visit China Town and have some kick ass Chinese food.

Spend some time in Central Park.

Eat at the Grand Central Oyster Bar. <--- Expensive

Try some NYC pizza.

Karaoke at Iggy's on the upper East Side. Or visit Tin Lizzy, Brady's, and some surrounding bars for a good time. Make sure that you read the reviews on yelp before you go because these might not be your kind of bars.

There is a pizza place across the street from the Bitter End that has some pretty good slices. I may have been so drunk that they just seemed like the best at the time though. It has been a while since I was that far downtown.

I forgot to mention Blockheads for Mexican food. They are my favorite.

And if you are looking for just a really great place to eat try Tony DiNapoli. That is one of the best restaurants NYC has to offer that isn't crazy expensive.

Almost all of the places that I have mentioned have their own websites so check them out.

Find Magoo and take a picture of his destroyed beach house.

Spray paint a penis on his boat.

Rename his boat to "The Drug Runner".

Cut his power to send him back to the stone age, again.

Ziptie a lugnut to his driveshaft near the wheel on his vehicle.

Just got to use your imagination.

There is some really nice escorts there, rent one, go all out on the town for the evening, then ditch her in harlem.

But yea the basics:

Empire State Building

Statue of Liberty

Central Park

Broadway - some good shows going on there currently

Is the Trade Center Museum open yet?

Well if I have time i will find you, then I would recommend pizza in Brooklyn if you have time to get pizza in Brooklyn about a 45 min subway ride.

If you are not down with Brooklyn, then in the city stay away from main stretch of downtown food. You are paying tourist prices there and the quality is shit.

Pizza places you should look for are Ray's Pizza, There is only one. Lombardi's of SOHO

Address: 32 Spring St

Telephone: 212-941-7994

Neighborhood: SoHo (Map)

Subway: 6 to Spring Street

Or just grab a slice at a walk in place- they are usually ok.

Now you need to eat one Bagel, any bagel will do. They are terrible for you, but OMFG if you never have had a new york bagel Time to Ante up.

Places to see, well you are in main part of the city I am guessing, Thanksgiving day parade will mess up all other plans that day, so dont plan on moving anywhere.

I would recommend check out the NYC Library some really cool shit there.

Saint Patricks cathedral

Rockefeller Center

China Town is a must if you have time.

I will think some more, tons of shit to do

I'm with my parents at a rented apartment a couple blocks away from Fort Greene park on the Clinton Hill side. We're here for thanksgiving with my sister, who lives a couple blocks away. Tomorrow I'm going to watch the Barcelona match at Smithfield, at 28th and 7th street then I'll probably hit the Met.
