So I was perusing reddit last night drunk as a skunk in a whiskey barrel and came across a music post from an artist I went to high school with in Japan; she started blowing up big back then, and apparently has kept it up as she is a huge success in the country now (name = Utada Hikaru). I then saw another music post of that old Suicidal Tendencies song and remembered how I got my first tattoo from their drummer back in LA in late 1999. Bryant knows some of my other run-ins with the famous when I was a male model in Tokyo (which got me access to the VIP rooms of clubs that Harrison Ford/Leo Dicap/Marlyn Manson/etc frequented), including drinking wine with Korn while they made racist comments about the Japanese...while in Japan. Assholes. Also, Jonathan Davis was in the corner getting a blowjob from a scabby lookin' lady too.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers were pretty cool though; Flea is/was insane. He would just start dancing to the weirdest pop songs in this pop-n-lock fashion while Anthony and John would look on in disdain. The ladies bloody loved it though.

What bumps with fame do you people have? TELL ME. I AM INTERESTED IN THIS.

LAst year i went to a concert. dont remember the name but Winds of plague was the main band i went to see. Before the show i was walking around the streets near by to kill some time and i bumped into Johnny Plague (singer) and Art Cruz (drummer). I got to hang out with them for a bit before the show, got a picture of them someware. Sadly i didnt get any special treetment other than hanging out with them for a bit before the show.

Chris Beattie of Hatebreed is a family friend. Bumped into Muhammad Ali in Houston. My grandfather is prolific in airplane crashes and documentary's about them. And thats about as close as I get with those types or would want to get.

Introduce me to Chris Beattie and I will give you a brand new car*

*may or may not be actual car

Tom Cruise - on St.Lawrence street in Montreal during the Indy Races a few years back

Richard Dean Anderson - years and years ago in Toronto when he was there for a shoot.

Tom Selleck - back in the 80's when I was a wee lad.

Eric Wilson - novelist, back in the 80's when he released one of his new at that time books written in the West Edmonton Mall, he did a book signing and a mystery quiz which had about 1000 of us kids running around the mall following clues to get a free copy of his book.

Leslie Neilson, when he did a tour for one of his movies, back in the 80's was in Edmonton, got to see him downtown at an event, fuck was he a funny man.

Natasha Henstridge - went to school with her cousin (who none of use believed he was actually related) and she showed up at our grad to congratulate him for completing High School... fuck is she hot, especially in person.

A few members of Great Big Sea - First time I was doing back stag security in North Bay ontario in 1998 for an outdoor concert they were doing (man talk about an extreme amount of sexual offers from hot barely legal women to let them past), then again in 2004 met Alan, Bob, Sean - was out in St.John Newfoundland a couple weeks before Christmas at one of the local pubs (I think it was a jungle Jims), and one of the locals I had hired for my crew noticed them sitting on the other side of the bar and introduce me and my coworkers to them, was pretty cool sharing a few beers with them.

Avril Lavinge - at a small pub in Ottawa back in 2006, she was there with some friends having drinks, didnt actually get to meet her up close, but hey I'll take drinking in the same bar at the same time as close enough.

Wayne Gretsky, Mark Messier, Grant Fuhr, Paul Coffey - all back in the 80's when I lived in Edmonton, Mark, Paul and Grant were all on my paper route, and periodically they would come play on the rink behind my school with us in the evening along with Wayne and a few of the other players. They made fans for life out of my and my friends.

Theres several more that I've met over the years in my travels, and via friends/connections in the film/tv industry but those are more of the ones that pop out in my mind.
