Meh, the Leafs are falling apart as usual. If Ron Wilson was still coaching I'm sure this losing streak would extend to 8 games, but I have faith in Randy Carlyle to stop this slide soon. If they don't win tonight, I might just stop watching hockey this season.

The leafs played well in that game and with Lupul back things quickly turned around. They made a good comeback but just came up short in the shootout. Tonight should be a good game.

Media reports through the evening suggest that the Flames will announce that they have traded Iginla to the Bruins for some mediocre prospects. The press tells everyone that the announcement will probably not be made until tomorrow because it is too late in Boston to make an announcement of this magnitude. So the game ends, and everyone is told that in fact, there WILL be a presser by the Flames GM. While the media is waiting for the presser and only seconds before the Flames GM takes the stage, Bob McKenzie reports that Iginla has actually been traded to the Penguins. The hockey world explodes.

Lots of different possibilities.

1) Iggy held feasters balls in a vice-like grip so feaster gets roasted for the shittiest deal he's done since becoming GM of the Flames.

2) Feaster just happens to be the 2nd coming of Mike Millbury.

3) Feaster, getting what he could, did a classy thing to send Iggy to the team with the best chance to give him a cup on the understanding that Iggy re-signs with the flames to end his career in calgary.

4) Feaster just happens to be the 2nd coming of Matt Millen.

And brown, that was so classic last night. It was totally like a playoff win with the Rask fall being icing on the cake.
