I played the alpha of H1Z1 at SOE live and I can tell you it rocks. Well worth the time and effort to get it.

I loved it and couldn't wait to get alpha access. Been Jones'ing for it since August.

In regards to people commenting on how this game is pay-to-win

- Sony said the airdrops will only be cosmetic loot (i.e. skins) but I guess they have useful loot too.

- You can not server hop in H1Z1, meaning your character is not transferable across servers therefore you can't free farm in empty servers which brings me to my next point.

- If you call an airdrop chances are you will be killed in a populated server and your shit will be stolen by others.

Not playable for me atm. far too laggy, can't loot anything if I can even find stuff to loot in the first place. zombies are bugged. I'd hold off on spending money until they work out some basic problems with the game.

It's the first day of an alpha, calm down and don't freak out. The game is very good and further along now than DayZ or Rust...
